In the US, 51% of Black men and 48% of Black women have never been married and that is sad when many years ago, our race was the most married demographic. If the soldiers do not understand that many of their happy wives will eventually say, "I am not happy and want more," they are mistaken. There are many Black women who are and would be happy with a man who provides the basics and is faithful and respectful to them. Those who want more and are degreed or have higher earnings seem generally willing to work for the more that they would like.

I live in Japan the situation here is bleak money wise for most people especially women. Most of these women would never marry outside of their race if they didn’t see a benefit financially, Japanese overall hate foreigners. They marry these soldiers in hopes of bettering their situation, so yes they are happy with crumbs if it means they are able to get out of their current circumstances. What people should be asking is out of the “brothas” he saw marrying them back in the day, how many are still married to this day?

The thing I find women find hard to understand, is that they want more for less, while an understandable position, but when is enough enough? is your expectation even realistic? And are you personally investing with all you got towards that goal with your man? Many men don’t want to be in a relationship that is simply skewed in these aspects, most women think they’re deserving of a very rich man but fail in all the questions above. Another thing, perhaps poorer individuals appreciate a stable peaceful life more so than spoiled and delusional women. People are entirely too materialistic especially black women. Most black women don't think long-term and prefer to have their wants seen as needs. They don't understand growth. Single young black women right now think men their age should have this and do this, and every preference they have is superficial and materialistic. Most soldiers stationed in Japan are young and new in the military, so they aren't just ranking serious high levels of income. They're seen as broke instead of beginning. It causes issues in the relationship.
Japanese have strict cultural norms, in raring children and young and preparing women for marriage. It's not just social media. Its the entire environment, its socialisation and political structure.

When someone has less than you have, and you’re willing to share what you have with that other person, they’re supposed to be appreciative. Women in other countries seem to have that mindset, while women here feel they’re entitled to be taken care of with no reciprocity on their part.

I’ve had years I didn’t earn much and years I’ve made great money. My wife has loved me and been there for me through all of it. She deserves eternal love.
My husband and i had this type of love but it was genuine and not out of spite or based on assumptions/stereotypes about others. Eventually we both were in the military and struggled to balance but made it work. When i got out, he insisted on still helping out where he could because i took so much off of his mind and his plate while staying home with our son, which was tough at first. What made it easy for me was him being the type of man he was. Loving, kind, compassionate, a provider, honest, patient, doted on both myself and our son when he was there. Its easy to go above and beyond for a man like this. He's not entitled but rather humble (yet still in persuit of excellence in everything he sought to do because complacency is not an option when you're working for the Kingdom) and cared about me in every way just as i cared for him. He loved his wife like Jesus loved the church. He's gone now and i miss him daily. The bar has been set extremely high for me and im so thankful to my husband for that. That was a beautiful black man inside and out❤❤❤

However, as a young man (born again and baptized in the Holy Ghost) I started messing around with women (I deeply regret it now.). I got married and cheated on my wife (who was a virgin) severally early part of our marriage. She did not have a clue. I was convicted and confessed to her and apologized sincerely. I begged God that I will never hurt her like that AGAIN. He ANSWERED. God had mercy upon me while I was straying and stayed with me and kept convicting me, and I will ever remain grateful to Him for that. We will be 21 years in marriage sometime this year, and are blessed with 4 wonderful kids. It is the work of the devil. PRAY and DO NOT GIVE UP, be bitter or try to hurt him by cheating on him (a horrendous choice that will you and him). GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS. He says "Cast your cares ad burden upon Him for He cares for you.". Phil. 4:6 - Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Typical japanese behaviour. They avoid confrontation at all cost they avoid to communicate which is what you should do when you had a problem and then proceed cheat or leave without notice. Japanese in general are just bad at communication. Most of them which is the type that not to communicate are ticking time bomb. Everything seems fine for long (which is pretty suspicious because life had up and down, when everything is smooth for a long time there are definitely something wrong) and one day suddenly things explode. On japanese man case they had lots of demand to their wife. Traditionally theyre not exactly typical gentleman either. There are lots of pressure on the wife daily life where the wife more often than not think the husband as atm. Also its common to marry not because of love but benefit which could causing problem later.
There are a lot of good black women out here. We want someone to love us, be faithful and honest and we will respect love an honor you as well I have been married for 35 years and I know several good respectful black women looking for respectful black men ❤
I can testify to this. Married now going on 5 years, 2 kids, and a whole lot of calmness and peace on both sides. I had to shed that keeping up with the Jones energy, wild mouth/ and attitude. Being married to such a peaceful, calm-spirited, loving, motherly wife gave me the full opportunity to actually provide on a higher level. It also gave her a huge opportunity to work when she wanted and how she wanted. No pressure on either of us and absolute support on both sides. Most times, I am working from home or at home which gives her a huge break in shared responsibilities. We spend 6-8 months stateside and 2-3 months abroad. This is living and thriving!

He is super supportive of my ADHD/depression and autoimmune disease. There is more to providing than $ and when there isn't the pressure of $ being important it's so rewarding and relieving. This is something I have grown to understand as a black woman. My preference is peace as well. It’s hard for blacks to understand this because of how we were raised or our environments. We can all do better to give peace and expect peace as God intended.

However, some generalizations are relatable and common to many blacks - especially if you grew up in mostly black communities. If you grew up in the suburbs or in more diverse communities, your experience would definitely be different.

Some men like to be pushed though. I married an American and he would say those things to people who asked him why he would marry someone from Argentina. I was always happy with everything. He wanted someone who pushes him and he left our family (me and our four kids) for a woman that is ambitious and pushes him continuously to acquire more and more. He drives a Tesla, she drives a Porsche, they live in a beautiful house with a pool in California. I decided to care for my children and to live in celibacy until they are grown and I chose to live happily 😊 no matter what. Being content involves being grateful in the present moment.
When you actually like someone you will do more for them. When your just in a relationship to be in one it doesn't work the same. People just need to check themselves and know what they actually want

Date on your level. Race isn't the differentiator, it's culture. If you live in a big city, finances matters. If you live in the country, finances may not matter as much. It really depends on a man and what he desires. Many men change their criteria for black women and other women. A black woman is considered lazy or gold digger if they say they want to be provided for but other races can say it and get it easily. So pressure on black women are there too. We must be soft yet tough enough to be Black in America. I wish our ppl would think of the generational trauma and the culture.
I married a black man…we have two kids and we had nothing…and I’ve seen the growth in my husband and the pride billowing from his being able to go from not being able to, to providing for his family’s needs….im very happy that I am blessed with his love in my life

It's so true. My wife is from Tokyo and we've been married for 22yrs. She's never pressured me for anything. She just wants me to love her. We have four children and she still puts me first..I love her so much and I'm at peace

This is the one of the many reasons my husband married me. He said it was easy to work 10+ hours in a physically demanding job because he got to come to me. I can’t speak of the women that also work or are the main income in their household. But if your husband is the sole breadwinner then he deserves a peaceful, safe and relaxing home life. He is sacrificing time and labor to make sure you get to stay home and take care of the children. I know too many women that will kill to be able to spend the first few years with their babies instead of going to a job that doesn’t appreciate them and overworks them.
