It was a mixture of things. He did see a lot of that weird stuff but he also saw fellow artist being robbed AND knows Diddy had a hand in big's death and possibly pac too and after bad boy abandoned him in the west coast right after big was shot he was over it. Big was the only reason ANY of the artist stuck around and didn't harm Diddy. Lox wanted to real deal take that man life but big kept them at bay
This must have been in 2004 when he came back to music with Welcome Back. I think he was still making music with Puff Daddy then though. Mase is one of the best rappers ever who doesn’t get enough credit for his lyrical style.
