As requested by subscriber sheshgan, here is a recipe for Mashed Green Bananas. Similar to our Mashed Potato recipe (click here: • Spicy Mashed Potatoes ... ) but much healthier. If you're watching your weight, or simply want the benefits of raw green bananas, this recipe is for you.
Tip: Ask the grocery store for when their green bananas arrive so you can pick the freshest green bananas for cooking. Pick the most raw and green looking bananas and cook them the very same day, otherwise bananas may taste sweet.
