This is my favourite fight of the entire anime, Kimura isn't a prodigal blessed with tremendous physical gift (Miyata with his speed, ippo with his power etc etc), he's kind of just like a normal guy who works hard, I know it's all fictional obviously, but i still cheered for Kimura the first time I watched this :)
Me encanta, y la canción que has escogido es perfecta. La letra le queda muy bien a Kimura y se ciñe al argumento muy bien, es como si fuese un reflejo de sus pensamientos cuando por fin se determina a enfrentarse a Mashiba.
Hello 2007 XD, I love this amv.. i am quite impressed by how much i feel in kimura and the lyrics of the song, it gives me courage to want to face all my complicated goals. 4:16 This is my favorite scene, as you see kimura trying to get something BIG, I just love it, it also conveys to me that maybe i won't get it but at least i came close to achieving it, ty por this awesome amv :D.
everyone who works hard deserves to win. You cant say hs opponent didnt work hard for that win, and he showed respect at the end to Kimura. Lets work hard for our success for our future too and even if we fall down, lets get up as ast as we can and continue chasing our dreams. And for those that dont have dreams spend realy spend as much time at finding what you want to achieve, what will make you happy....Because without dream youll loose your life.
Kimora became my favorite character. His determination was like Ippo’s for this one fight. My guess is, Kimura is just like Ippo in terms of needing a goal to strive for.
The problem with Kimura is that he isnt a lazy bastard but he never ever PUSHED himself like he did with the mashiba fight! Also if you read the mashiba vs sawamara chapter, you can see kimura wishing they kill each other so that even the winner doesnt come out of the fight unscathed instead of developing some bad ass boxing technqiues!
@@ovidiudante I think just because he was good character they didn't let him go and that made me mad as hell it would have sent a message that you won't always win but that shouldn't stop you from trying your best but nah let's just use him for more comedy relief
@@mubarakhassan6060 The comedic part is there for all characters. Aoki and Kimura also mocked Ippo many times when he didn't live up to their expectations and even Takamura had momdnts whdn he was laughed at. The author probably kept him because he was one of the main characters so writing without him didn't feel good for him and also to show that it's not weird to decide that you want to quit but still come back because you don't have anything else as good in your life. If anything I'm mad that the author didn't give him a bit more shine after loosing to Mashiba. I don't want him to keep winning but at least if he looses make it be cause his oponent was strong not cause Kimura is loosing focus and confidence all the time.
@@ovidiudante yea your point makes sense to its just he is my favourite character and seeing always lose or draw because of weight management just upsets me
They're honestly pretty even & I'm a boxer for 7 years now praticing it and talking to real pros on twitter about & watching anime and being a game compeitiors since i was born. Yes I'd have to say Kimura & Aoki ARE DEF EVEN & THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL BOXERS IN MY BOOK!
This is canon and a big part of Kimura's development in the manga. The anime couldn't afford to animate everything in the manga and it even omitted Kamogawa/Nekota's past which I find very sad as it was my favorite part of the series right now
yeah I think the ones who are blessed with natural gifts are itagaki and takamura, like what they said in the manga Ippo was like a blank canvas which coach Kamogawa nurtured.
I hear you bro, Im like that with strict dieting, I cant follow a diet for more then 3 solid weeks before sucummbing to regular eating. I agree with dbz because internet wasent big at that time so you couldent get the results and u had to wait every week which built anticpiation of not knowng what the hell was gonna happen. Someone recommended me hajime no ippo and I had access to all the episodes/manga and thus I didnt need the wikipidea or internet to get the results of hajime no ippo!!
@Kenshin8080 I personally counted Ippo as a prodigy because his body type was perfect for a powerhouse and his background in fishing gave him the balance and weight shifting needed.. actually on second thought.. it's iffy lol Miyata's dad was a boxer so he technically was a prodigy lol
Esta serie me recuerda a Sawuamurah el campeon, serie transmitida aqui en Venezuela por el canal 2 RCTV. Pero claro, aquella serie estaba ambientada en el boxeo thai.
im glad this is just an ova means kimura still @ the normal episode hehe he's my favorite character here and aoki,, kimura so underated but actually just so unluck to some of his fights but when he fights serious he's a different guy
It´s no episode, It´s a "extra" movie If u want to call It so. Just like the movie, It is an extra u can find It easily on youtube by typing Kimura vs Mashiba 8 parts are there
@mightyPants ok i knwo your comment is 2 years old and i agree with you completely iw as the same but ippo was never counted as a prodigy he only got so far because he had a good couch and worked really hard
Is it really that hard to look it up on google? There are only 2 Hajime No Ippo OVAs, and one of them is called 'Kimura Vs Mashiba', guess which one it is.
Also besides dbz/hajime no ippo I LOVE Baki the grappler an Kenichi, the strongst disciple. With baki the grappler I kinda cheated and checked the results which kinda spoiled the mystery but kenechi I didnt check the results and like hajime no ippo I watched all 50 episode of the anime The kenichi of the strongest discpile is similar to hajme in a sense that the student has masters that are like the takamuras of the show and the bad disicples have masters like bryan hawk levels of the show
But for me, you´re right "mightyPants" This show the brutal reality, You give everything and train hard every day, and still get kicked in the ass. Kimura !!!
It's too bad. Kimura didn't show the same dedication after the match and fell into old habits. Normal really, irl most people can't push themselves that hard so suddenly but for a short period before they burn out and fall to older habits. Myself included so we have to learn to pace things carefull and build up slowly so that it's normal. Still such a great show, I don't know any others that build the excitement in me the way DBZ used to when I was younger.
I dont know if I'm the only one thinking of this but do you think Kimura and Aoki would have won many matches if their coach was Kamogawa than Shinoda?
