you can regain the lost torque by stepping down the pinion gear size , you can also go fusion but a 1200 fusion has more torque than an 1800 - i use the 1200 in straight axle rigs and the 1800 in portals where you need the faster speed to make up for the gear reduction in the portal axles
@@HillbillyAdventures All good info thank you. After running 4 fusions, 2 1200s & 2 1800s figured this rig needs more wheel speed. Might go with 2300kv to spin the heavy metal axles and 2.2s that actually grip. If you have experience with the fusion pro let me know please. 👍
