Here i am after many many years .. found this song .. i used to listen this remix when i was a kid .. This hit me so hard. Time flies like hell .. Chester is no more. Linkin park is on stop .. and i am in my head
yeah you def hear the high pitchedness...but this is a great idea for a mix! daniel (lol my names daniel too)...you couldnt slow down the lose yourself instrumental? because the vocals are almost to a point where it might not work (the voices being too high pitched and all). slowing down the beat would allow you to not have to speed up the vocals as much. maybe its just me, cuz i prefer when guys dont make their mashup sort of a stretch. just a piece of advice from one dj to another. =)
dammit, how many times do I have to say this? I know how to only alter the tempo, but the faint whining in the background (aaaahaaaaahaaaaah 0:48-1:05 for example and during each chorus) and when they sing "the suuuuun goes dooooooown" it would sound terrible without the higher pitch. also 1:40 (oooh ooh) to ONLY change those parts mentioned, would leave the song choppy and wierd since the bassline would change between the parts. I hope that's enough answer for you.
Dude this is good shit. Just that from 2.00 - around 2.15 the me thinks the beats are abit messy. Anyway this is good stuff gonna check out ur channel.
yeah, that wasn't the problem though. It was when they sung "the sun goes down" that the pitch had to be altered. and a few bass-notes were in the acapella, so it worked better
if you want to download it, you can use the website link in my profile:) don't wanna spread it out all around on limewire and stuff I want people who REALLY like it to have it:p
Hmmm... I dont think there was any other way to do this... maybe fuck around with stretching. I think its pretty good. Better than most of this other shit i find here
each time i wrote (.) you have to write only a dot.. then you have to register to become a free member and then you're allowed 5 acapella-downloads a month.. check out the forums if you wanna post your work, or hear other peoples mashups there
