This is Mason. Mason is a 6 month old Cairn Terrier puppy ... a very happy Cairn Terrier. The challenge with Mason is going to be to control those happy emotions when asking him to obey. He must learn to obey when you ask and be happy doing it.
When he first arrived he was a little indifferent to us and could care less about training. Using a great deal of praise (good words, and good touch), we started to turn the corner. He now wants to work and be an active part of the pack.
The video is an instruction guide that I make for my clients' dogs. it shows them the obedience with audible and hand signals, how to motivate and how to handle their dog in training situations.
Training goes much deeper than that. We discuss each dog's tendencies, what to look for and how to get the most of their dog. It's not always easy for the owner. They have to show their dog that things have changed at home and prove themselves as leader. It is my job to prepare them for that. I am here for my clients and my clients' dogs.
