This is great!! I wanted to make a cosy for my jars since we've been drinking out of them a lot and I'm tired of them sweating all over my furniture. I'm a super beginner when it comes to crochet, I had never done anything other than rectangles like a scarf or a potholder. I watched 3 other videos and started to get so frustrated because they went way too fast and assumed I understood the terminology. This was easy and very low key, exactly what I needed. I've made two now and I'm so stinking proud of myself. You rock!!
Hi I just wanna say thanks for making this step-by-step tutorial! I managed to make one cosy for my mason jar and it was my first project ~ though I had difficulty initially, your video was so helpful I kept replaying it till I finish it ^^ thanks alot again and I hope you can make more crochet tutorials!
Thank you so much! I was looking for a very long time for a pattern easy enough for me because I am a beginner. Very well explained and it turned out really well. thank you once again.
Great video and so easy to follow! Thanks for explaining it so well. I, like you, learn better by watching instead of reading the instructions or looking at drawings in a book.
Hi Rachel - Thanks for your awesome video! When I do the first section for the base of the jar I keep getting little cups. It seems to be curling up when it should be flat like yours. Any suggestions?
love it! finally someone who explains it in a way i can understaaaaand :D hahaha i don't know how to read patterns either, i need someone who can explain it to me. Thank you soooo much! Hope you'll come out with more videos :)
I have tried this twice and when I switch to the single crochet, my circle just keeps getting wider and wider instead of going up. Are you picking up every loop or skipping one?
I stuck with it the second time and saw it start to form. Not sure if its the yarn I'm using or the looseness of my stitches but mine came out quite a bit bigger, so just adjusted for that to get the size that I want. Thanks!
