I had an out of body experience watching this. So good. No filler, all stoke. The Michael Ho clip at the beginning is legendary.

At first I was a little bummed thinking that this was going to be another surf blog were they drive around on the phone for the first 10 min before the surfing started, but then I saw papa Ho’s wave and it was all good again. This was worth the wait. Great edit!

Thoughts: epic footage; shows just how hectic big, unruly Pipe is. The reality of paddling toward shore to get farther from an exploding closeout. The footage of Mason and JOB sharing a barrel was the best thing I've seen in a while. The guys who own Pipe are so much better than the average Joes. Michael Ho! Love Mason's surfing, but not a fan of the reverse rail grab. Looks awkward and more like a "move" rather than an effective way to ride. Ha, might be just me. I ain't out there! Black Magic Woman added to the terror.
