Tali: I never brought any full active Geth into the fleet! Me: WHAT'S THAT THEN!? *points to legion* later Tali: Why did you do that, Shepard!? Shepard: I did it... for teh lulz...
@HatKeinenNamen Yeah, I remember doing this mission and thinking to myself of what will happen between the Geth and the Quarians in the third ME game... Remember that mission for Legion? I reckon the choice you made in that mission will have an effect on the third one. I also reckon that the Rachni will support in the war against the Reapers.
I love how the admiral points out Legion is in the room before anyone seems to notice him. "Security, a geth is present in the courtroom!" Bystanders: "GASP"
"How could Tali have brought geth to the fleet while serving on the Normandy?" Legion: "Oh yeah, don't mind me, just uh, done what every Heretic dreamed of, that's all, nothin' much."
Legion is hands down one of my favorite characters... and he doesn't even have much personality. Just his different views on everything, the fact that he's a geth, how useful he is, the role he may play in ME3, and just his look in general, he got the biggest reaction out of me when recruiting him and I brought him everywhere with me.
I love how none of the Quarians noticed Legion until he mentioned that a Geth is on the ship. You'd think a 2 meter robot with a flashlight on his head would get a few sideward glances...
@SlyNos If I'm not mistaken, you can get legion anytime you wish during the IFF mission and continue loyalty mission from there. However (SPOILER BELOW) your captured crew will die if you choose that route.
Wow. They didn't seem overly upset about Legion standing there. There were quite a few times when I expected one of the admirals to use the fact that Legion was there as proof that Tali was bringing geth aboard, but there was no mention of it.
@shimazu32 Have you gone to the citadel with him yet? C-SEC: To reduce the risk of Geth infiltration LEGION: Geth do not infilitrate. C-SEC: And you really should have left your chamber servant at home.
@BlackfeetSinopaa You can do it without a mod on any version of the game. You can leave Tali's loyalty mission for last, get Legion, then do her loyalty mission with Legion. You don't need to go through the Omega relay as soon as it opens for you, you just lose bits of the crew the longer you wait.
@Shaslo after sealing the deal the cutscene from before the suicide mission occurs ( at least it did with Miranda) but then again I built up her romance all the way except for the last one because some of the dialogue options might be cut off after the suicide mission.
Considering the Geth-Quarian relationship, I expected it to be a muuuch bigger deal. Especially when Tali has been charged with bringing active geth. Because, you know, she just came in WITH AN ACTIVE GETH. If she wasn't guilty before, she definitely would be upon arrival.
Tali: I only sent disabled parts! Never anything active! Admiral: There's an active geth IN THE COURTROOM. Legion: Technically, the conscious all other platforms are attached to this unit. Every geth is in this courtroom. Shepard: ...goddammit.
@SlyNos You have some time after acquiring the Reaper IFF before it is fully integrating with the Normandy. That gives you time to complete unfinished loyalty missions, such as this one.
I think that the reason that the reaction is small is because this is such a counterintuitive thing to do (Legion is only acquired late in the game and then you rush off to the end), and perhaps Bioware is saving the confrontation between the quarians and Legion to be a dramatic part of the final game (as in the resolution of the whole conflict, perhaps?) and having that in this game would throw off pacing.
i got legion there too in the hope that he will might make peace with the quarians(there are some interesting dialogs with Legion and quarian Admirals) ... i hope this will influence events in ME3
@EdikShepherd pretty much the reason that whenever i visit omega i bring samara and garrus along, though no one seems to notice archangel and a justicar walking among them, and samara doesn't go crazy and kill every one in sight. could you imagine the chaos that would ensue if they did? it would be glorious.
I love how it takes the Admiral to point it out before everyone else goes "OH KEELAH, A GETH? ON OUR SHIP? OH NOES!" I'm going to make a new game with the sole purpose of getting Legion as quickly as possible, then doing everything else afterwards. Even if it gets my crew killed. They're expendable for Legion. Just so I can see everyone's reaction to him.
Tada! a bug has appeared. What happens here is that all NPCs have a "talk radius", or a minimum distance that one must be in order for the 'Talk' option to become available. Shala'Raan is positioned in the hallway such that her talk radius extends past the cutscene trigger. This creates a spot where you can be far enough down the hall to talk to her, but not far enough down the hall to trigger the cutscene. Talking to her in this manner skips the cutscene and breaks things.
@mikemoos Actually Keelah'Selai means "may the elders/dead ones/ ancient spirits/etc be with us/you/whatever". They don't have "gods", they worship their ancestors.
Shala'Raan: "You intend to retake the Alerei from the Geth. This proposal is extremely dangerous." Shepard: "Bitch, please, I killed at least 3 armies of them and took down a Reaper."
@Donalddln i did that with my first playthrough where i loaded my paragon shepherd. im now playing with my renegade shepherd. the funny thing is, the same asari is still there on illium, you just cant talk to her.
@rafatrench In the fictional Mass Effect universe, there is no English translation for Bosh'tet, Tali and all the other species aren't speaking English, they are speaking their own languages and everyone either knows the languages or it is being translated with implants.
there's one option missing: asking legion. he told you before that all geth are connected, they are aware of each other. so he could have seen, or acces data about what happend
Judge: "We are here to trial Tali Zorah vas Normandy of"... *looks at legion* Tali: "What?" Judge: "You are exiled..." Tali: "For what?!" Judge: "Look behind you!!!!!!"
"And if you die on this worthy mission, Tali, we will see that your name is cleared of these charges." I wonder what else you could do with a dead quarian. *rollseyes* stupid line lol
:O! This has really annoyed me! For some reason my game missed this bit! As I entered the Council Chamber for the first time... At least 40 Quarians were stood in one corner in a military unit... All I could do was speak to the Admiral Quarian, who then spoke about Tali's farther's ship! I was confused to say the least...
I brought Legion in hope for creating a quarian shitstorm and unleash hell, guns blazing and bullets flying everywhere with everyone getting pissed, all for my own entertainment. Nothing happened.
SHEPARD: This is Legion, he's not one of the various Geth that are trying to kill you. ADMIRAL: Ah, yes, "Legion." The advanced model of peaceful Geth allegedly waiting on the derelict "Reaper." We have dismissed these claims. SHEPARD: Really, you guys too? Must be something about the amino acids.
One of these quarians is not like the other, one of these quarians is a geth. XD Seriously, when the admiral pointed out Legion in the room, everyone gasped like they just noticed him, lol. Geth infiltrator indeed!
@CyphroZero50 No, because every other curse word is "translated" for us (assuming (to keep the immersive feel of the game) that the aliens are not actually speaking english), I would rather believe that words like Keelah se'lai and Bosh'tet have no direct english "translation".
yup the whole situation is a bit messed up and looks like a bit "not thought through".. nice for smiling on the situation, bit in the consisty of the game, it should work like this
I did this and then went on the suicide mission. I don't know how, but both Tali and Legion died while holding the line. It was kind of ironic how I went through the trouble of seeing Legion on the Fleet, only to have both him and Tali die at the same time. Needless to say, I was very sad...
@H1GHLANDER360 I thought it was I just wasn't sure. I know that the same guy who voices Logain is the quarian with the blackened mask, but my brother didn't believe me when I told him Morrigan was in the Flotilla as well.
