Probably the best parts of Mass Effect 2 are the Interrupts in the game. update Made an interrupt video for Andromeda as well, here's the link. www.youtube.co... #masseffect2 #masseffectlegendaryedition
Also, what sort of BS was that at the Quarian ship? Just say it "Kill me and my ship explodes your whole fleet. Even if a couple survive, you will be hunted down as easy prey by Geth, humans and whomever else wants to keep you as a pet. Plus, I already came back from the dead and only got stronger for it, wanna test that again?"
@@kevinc.cucumber3697 it is boring. But ME morality system punishes not min-maxing and going through the renegade route is uncomfortable for me in lots of places. Sometimes I just wanna let Garrus kneecap a scumbag but I had to worry if I have enough points to resolve Tali's loyalty mission.
4:25 I love this scene, because you literally walk up behind this guy while he's on the phone. "Nah, everything's under control. We don't need reinforcements." "Turn around very slowly." ".........Damn it." I tend to lean toward paragon but, I pushed him out the window on my first play-through. Garrus' reaction made me laugh. "Harsh, but, I guess he had it coming."
Nah, nah, throwing him out the window’s funny, but the intimidate option’s plain badass. She’s just like ‘What do you think you’ll sound like when you hit the ground?’ Whilst she’s pressing mercenary against the window. He just walks off scared shitless.
I've always pretended the interrupts are actually built into Shepard's cybernetics. There's some software running in Shepard's subconsciousness which analysis social interactions and beeps to let Shepard know who to punch/diplomance.
i didnt even know what i was doing when i pressed those, i assumed they were qick time events. so i pressed them whenever i thought i would die not pressing them lmao
HER SMILES TOO LMAO. It's even funnier when you realize that the animation is actually a gesture, but BioWare added the gunshot just to make her causally shoot the merc lmao
The "You're working too hard" is the only one I do. In my headcannon, sabotaging the chopper is a critical decision for Garrus' survival. (Even if it's not)
Fun thing is that Legion has dialogue recorded for every mission in the game. If you use a Save Editor and bring him to meet the "Biotic God" volus, he'll say "The first thing a God masters I himself."
+JediKnightwing She really does make the best Renegade. Renegade FemShep makes a fun and funny playthrough. "Sorry Im having trouble hearing you. Im getting a lot of bullshit on this line."
Jennifer is more versatile than Mark. When she goes into that soft-spoken, whispery type voice she can make it sound sultry and dulcet or icy and unfeeling depending on the context.
Wrex is old as shit, mutated by the genophage, and only one of his hearts work. Grunt isnt just fresh meat, he's clone trooper perfect, and the genophage doesn't affect him.
You know...I loved playing Paragon. You feel like the hero who saves the galaxy n shit. But if any of the things in ME were real, the real Sheppard would be Renegade. Maybe not 100% but around 70% renegade. There's no fucking way you can save the galaxy having to deal with reapers, murder, blackmailing, interspecies tension, cerberus and a tight schedule being a care bear.
I tend to be Paragon, except when it effects combat. My Shepard takes the Hero title seriously, but values lives over honor in combat. Combat pragmatism all the way.
Playing renegade in the first 2 games is amazing, but the 3rd punishes you so hard. Mass effect 3 is the worst game in the franchise tbh, the game was made in base of paragon shepard. We can know this cuz in the dialogues you dont get to control what shepard says, her attitude is pretty paragon.
Funny, i go with paragon, but in ME 2 i did lots of these... Simply becouse its faster and funnier, specially that scene with mirana + eclipse or that krogan speech.
How the heck have I missed the interrupt to shoot Grunt when you wake him up? Here I was being all impressed with Shepard for pointing a gun at his stomach. Never knew you could actually USE it.
Boris yeah lol. Tali claims she's innocent of sending/bringing live geth parts to the fleet; brings one to the trial and still gets acquitted if you choose the right dialogue options. Like a boss.
5:43 Shepard hit him in the back of the head, his face stared to bleed, Assassin's Creed 2 anyone? (I'm referring to the fact that some people were stabbed in the back or were poisoned and their chest were covered in blood.)
I find it funny how shields magically stop working when Shepard shoots someone mid conversation. I guess shields need to be lowered to transfer words or whatever.
Honestly as much of an asshole move it is when Shepherd interrogates Mouse aggressively like that I think it is the right option to do because Shepherd is right. They really don’t have time for that crap. Someone’s life is on the line.
I always play a Paragon/Paragade Shepard, but I will never not choose the Renegade interrupt for Garrus's recruitment mission when that batarian calls your a stripper. Fuck playing nice, nobody talks to me that way and gets away with it! Same reason I will always choose Renegade responses when dealing with Harkin in ME1 when he tries to flirt with Fem!Shep. I also often do the Renegade interrupts to take out enemies during cutscenes (like that one krogan in Mordin's loyalty mission) just to save myself the inconvenience of having to fight them. *shrug* My Shepard's a pragmatist, I guess.
Be at peace, no one will hurt you.... SHEPARD PAWNCH!! Renegade interrupts rock. I especially love "show me yours", and shoving that merc outta window. And the one during Thane's loyalty, which I never take, but still find badass
