For me the way to go is talk to her in me1, punch her in me2 to show that cerberus spirit and talk to her in 3 to show that in not a terrorist.

If you fight the urge in the prior games she gets a unique line that basically translates to her saying “square up “.

The sad thing is that it's her default response regardless of previous encounters. Did 1-3 full paragon and went back to 3 for a renegade NG+, she still dodges the punch. But I guess you gotta learn a thing or two about self-defence if you're antagonizing a krogan

That's what made it therapeutic for me. There's the virtuous notion of a journalist we read about in things like comic books. Then there's our real life experiences of what they are really like, some of the most evil and disgusting people, abusing their platforms in reality. They lie all the time and if you project that image on the character in the game then it kind of reproduces the way a lot of people feel toward mainstream journalism. In ME1 I think it's mainly funny more because it's just absurd. In ME2, the way he says that he's had enough of her disingenuous assertions is exactly how we feel about the press these days. The version in this video of ME2 isn't the best. It works better when you didn't hit her in ME1 and you're playing as paragon.

Probably because that "other" in question supports journalists. Just a hunch. However, I personally have issues with the current state of journalism. If there are still good ones out there, more power to them; keep at it.

On my first ever playthrough of the old games I never hit her because I didn't see the need UNTIL the third game when she accused me of running away, then I hit her. Like lady, I would love to see you stay and fight the reaper on earth.
