Imagine donating your money to 2 boring, half asleep people to react to a video game with zero context on what’s going on. I’m gonna guess it’s kids using their parents wallets, or adults who have no interaction with the outside world. These are the type of people to sit in the back of class eating hot Cheetos not paying attention.

In response to Jon's "I wanna see how it ends", it's a 3+ hour long sequence, but it ends... It's undescribable. EPIC. You must play the Mass Effect trilogy if you're into gaming.

This scene still gives me goosebumps and we have expected something like this will happen but still I wish they really showed all races fighting together in ground and space. Just a 5 min scene without showing dozens of different alien races fighting doesn't do any justice for our 100 hours of gameplay. All respective leaders of asari, turian even batarian should have said 'we are reporting' and give a little speech instead to motivate. Where's the balak's batarian fleet, volus fleet, elcor fleet, blue sons, eclipse, vorcha, salatian fleet, where's rachni, geth, quarians, asari, turian, krogan fighters all fighting together and take out brutes, banshees. Bioware really missed an opportunity of a lifetime. This is the most important fight in million years yet they just show a 5 min scene for formality and ignore different races for rest 2 hours of gameplay. Any scene of 'all fleets coming' is guaranteed to give us goosebumps, they should have shown different races a little bit more and it might have been the most epic fight of all time.

No the the United fleet was kissing that battle, pretty damn bad actually. That HUGE fleet was just meant to distract the reapers(the bad guys with red lasers). 1 reaper could take on 3 dreadnoughts and the alliance only had 8-9. It’s hard to tell how many cruisers it would take to take down a reaper(cruisers were the majority of the ships u saw in that battle, they are pretty much the main fighters of fleets) but it would take a few of them probably up to 10 or more

What's the point of watching this without any context... there's no meaning behind it if you haven't played the game, it just looks like a bunch of spaceships fighting metal squids.

it's a bit late but just for clarification of whats on stake here. The enemys are the reapers, a created species that cleanse the galaxy of all too far evolved races every 50.000 years, so that's why there are so many ships it's actually all or nothing here... only if you played through all games you know how fucking on edge fans were at this scene

One of the things that this game got such incredible criticism for is that it never really got across the incredible FUTITILTY of fighting the Reapers in open warfare. Their ships were bigger, stronger, faster, more advanced and THERE WERE MORE OF THEM than we could cobble together in the whole universe. It spent 2 and a half games hammering home just how hopeless it was to fight then and then suddenly... oh... thats it? Ok then i guess we win for no reason. The original Game of Thrones final season was Mass Effect 3

One of the best game trilogys iv ever played and its the battle for earth I wasent a fan of how me3 ended but it would be hard to end a story like the commander's.

This was only the first stage of the battle. That big silver thing that the reapers were protecting is the Catalyst part of a weapon called the Crucible that can destroy the reapers but its closed and can only be accessed from the ground. The galactic forces were devided into 3 groups. Sword fleet, shield fleet and hammer ground forces. This particular battle was sword fleet. They were not trying to destroy the enemy here, just detract them and keep them occupied while part of sword broke off to land hammer. Sword would keep the reapers occupied in orbit while hammer made their way to the transport beam on the ground that would take them onto the Catalyst and from there they can open it. Once its open then Shield fleet will bring in the rest of the crucible. What remains of sword would join shield and escorte the weapon to the Catalyst.

"Who do you think is winning?" I know for a fact at that point, the Reapers are absolutely dominating. What you're seeing is the combined effort of an entire galactic civilization throwing every ship, weapon and resource they have at the Reapers on Earth as getting to the Citadel is crucial for defeating the Reapers. What you're not seeing and wouldn't know if you've never played the series is that the Reapers at Earth are just a minute fraction of their galactic invasion force. The rest are spread across the Milky Way just decimating the home worlds and colony worlds of every species that is taking part in this final push to get to Earth.

Yeah no, pretty sure saving the ascension costs you 25 War assets, because it’s worth what you lose in all the fleets, so it’s “equal”, but Read Admiral what’s his face is worth an extra 25, so saving the ascension costs you

@@spacejesus6581 The Destiny Ascension is 70 Points herself, therefore nullifying all but 5 points from the Alliance Fleets (Three lose 25 each). This 'Admirals' War Assets (Which is only worth a meager 25) does not make up for the score you lose by destroying the strongest ship in the Citadel races arsenal. Remember the Dreadnought is worth 70 herself, destroying her means you only gain 5 points via the Alliance Fleets that would lose score since she is worth so much. Down below is the two Salarian assets. Do tell me, how do you gain more by destroying the Destiny Ascension? Salarian Third Fleet - 133 Total Points (Original Salarian Council Member) STG Task Force - 70 Total Points (Replacement Salarian Council Member)

@@galenmarek4550 I don't remember the Salarian assets ever relying on it being the OG council rather than the replacement, as long as the councilor is saved

@@spacejesus6581 Always been like that. The OG gets you the Fleet. His replacement gets you the STG Task Force. This is all based on your decision in whether or not you save the Destiny Ascension.
