Mass Effect: Reborn is a total-conversion developed and published by Phoenix Interactive that aims to recreate the universe of BioWare's Mass Effect franchise into Homeworld Remastered. Modification in partnership with BioWare, Tunngle and MassEffectUniverse.fr

Well Reapers are far more advanced then the alliance or any other species apart from the Leviathans. So it makes sense that fighting the Reapers isn't easy or it'd take away the sense of dread from fighting them and the massive satisfaction from beating them.

At least in this mod they prevent an unstoppable spam of Reapers by giving them long build times so the other factions can try to use the classic soviet tactic of overwhelming numbers on them.

The reapers attack damage is really high than the ships from homeworld ships. Because the homeworld ships is not strong enough than mass effect ships. Like reapers vs the vaygr, and the reapers would win against the vaygr.

Really dislike how you went in without knowing the lore behind the reapers. When you got your first Reaper out you could have annihilated those Dreds easily and prevented too long of a battle.

Tip: Place a few destroyers in the front lines to keep the alliance occupied while your reapers do the reapin' :) Keeps the big ships alive longer. Also, try and spread out a bit so your capital ships don't bump each other around

Well their lasers have reason to be that powerful, it's molten metal (cannot remember the alloy name) being fired in a controlled beam via an eezo core at a 5th of the speed of light.

Sentient life does not necessarily need to be organic or even give birth to be a living species. This kind of topic however is to complicated for us to decide because we do not fully understand what makes life life. This debate itself is kind of a paradox.

Man, I can't wait for the HW:R version they are making! I wonder if the modders will make missions based on events from Mass Effect since gearbox allowed fans to make fan missions of their own.

no this is patrick And they're just a modding group, not full-on game developers. They're also doing this for free and releasing it for free (provided you have the game). Just gotta be patient. They also have other modding projects that they're working on.

Can anyone help me fix the dollar sign description issue? I've used the link in the steam page and installed it to the homeworld/homeworld2/data folder, and when that didn't work I tried it for a lot of other folders.

The thing with the reapers is that they are just super old and use ground troops more than space forces but that's because they have like 2 million ships(literally) and can over power any one with there OP weapons. Also I believe the collector carrier may have some ships in it to. Also harbinger is the reaper leader.

Okay you might want to play the game where the reapers are actually implemented so you know how powerful they are. A REAPER does not run from 3 dreadnoughts. Reapers are the pinnacle of technology and sovereign, no reason you shouldn't know that one, tore through the entirety of the citadels defenses by himself with only limited geth support.

It doesn't matter how big is the ships. It all about their threat, armor and firepower. So pretty much the reapers would win against covenant.

Covenant Armor is weak but their shielding is far more advanced... fire power more rapid aswell and they have numbers to their side

Thats not entirely true. Yes they are a synthetic species but now they do breed. It is more like a hive type of breeding though. They use they carrier reaper like a fetus. It grows more reapers while the others get the supplies it needs to grow. Like a mother storing fat for her child.
