I don't think in this case they are going for Shepard to find him alive. Well, maybe they going to continue their adventures somewhere, for example. Maybe they going to find Shepard's corpse to make a funeral or something.

People say they pushes Liara, I dunno I mean Ashley was in all the trailers as romance.

Well remember ME 1 came out in 2007 and things were a lot less accepting back then. If you were the devs, are you gonna possibly hurt your games sales by showing the protagonist having sex with blue aliens? The ads have ashley a lot, but the actual gameplay pushes romancing aliens over humans. Like who the fuck would pick boring ass kaiden over thane or garrus lol?

The fact that she kept Shepard's Tags and part of the N7 Armor in her apartment lets you know she actually had feelings for Shepard. I never understood why she didn't just tell Shepard that she kept the tags. They were on her desk. Also BioWare made it clear that she was meant to be the Canon romance. I can see why....

Rangiku Matsumoto Yeah, you are right. From Liara to Tali and Garrus to Joker along with Dr. Chakwas, they are the realest people Shepard ever had. Never once did they question him too much or give up on him.

Liara was written to have a crush on Shepard. No matter if your Shep is male or female, she will awkwardly try to throw herself at shep in the first game, and in ME2 and 3 she will hide her crush on shep if you romance someone else, but she always keeps your tags and she always wants to share her memories with Shep. Similarly Tali and Ashley always have a crush on Male shepard. Idk it's a space fantasy, everyone is in love with Shepard lol.

I know people like Tali but Liara is the only crew member with direct input in the story and the only one with any real growth as a character. So yeah, I'm excited to see what Liara becomes this time round. My only worry is that they'll do her a disservice as most of the team that worked on the trilogy have moved on.

@@DarthPingu07 I think Liara, Tali and Garrus are all S-tier love interests but at least for femshep, Liara feels like she’s “the one”. Idk I might be the only person out there who didn’t mind Liara being “forced” on you. People forget Tali and Garrus had a better start to their relationship because their relationship was more or less realized from ME 2 onwards; that’s when the developers had a solid foundation to build on top of (ME1). But in ME 1, it was a lot more experimental and a new IP which is almost always flawed to some extent, that’s why the romance in ME1 wasn’t really as good, and people were stuck with this idea of Liara being forced on you too much. If Liara is returning in the next ME, I hope Shepard comes back too. Kinda pointless only bringing Shepard’s wifey back but keeping him/her dead. But yeah, let’s see what happens. Like toh said, pretty much everyone who worked on the first two ME has moved on, but the teaser trailer did mention “veteran developers”, so I have no idea what’s going to happen. I’m not optimistic, but slightly hopeful. Let’s hope we get some news on this soon.

Let's face it. Asari Commandos (as useless as they are against something like the Reapers) are NOT to be fucked with. They don't go active duty without at least 20 Earth Years of intense training in small-unit tactics, hand-to-hand combat, biotic training, knowing how to call in fire support missions, etc. The Turian saying "The Asari are the finest warriors in the galaxy; it's fortunate there are so few of them" has a reason for existing. I have a fic where I have a human with 7 years actual military experience and about 15 years of martial arts training to his name (no biotics) and he can only barely keep up without resorting to things like Incredible Levels of Dakka, Grenade Spam, and (insert "dirty trick" here) just to stay relevant.

Nah, Liara's romance seems to me the most profound out of any other option. She's the only one you can romance in all 3 games, and their relationship reflects that. The conversations are deeper, they have more history to share, and Liara honestly gives more to the battle than the others. She's my end-all choice for a romance in every playthrough except my very first one.

That was the moment when I had to set my controller down and was just like, "Dammit, BioWare, you just shot my heart right in the dick!"

Jaguar550 It's sad though, in order for Liara and Shepard to be together we had to sacrifice EDI and ruin what Legion died for. I wish we could have saved Shep in the synthesis ending. I guess happy ending is overrated until you actually want it.

In the end, Shepard found his way back to her and loved Liara eternally.

Then right before the big battle you share a moment with your friends and significant other and go off for you final battle. Sounds pretty good to me.

lol no. the journey was inconsistent and overrated as fuck. ME2 alone is so much proof of how little thought went in to the trilogy. You could remove that game from the trilogy and it would change NOTHING.

The ending was a work of genius, if you actually take the time to understand what is actually going on.

Then she makes an entry for Shepard in a time capsule in case they fail in ME3, basically immortalising Shepard for future cycles. Thus writing his name in the stars. Nobody comes close to Liara in terms of how far they'd go for Shepard.

Tali best girl, because she had such great depth as a character. Liara was always kinda bland for me.

Sorry but Tali is the one. Liara is the best of all romances; however, Tali is the greatest romance that delivers more heartbreak than any.

Replaying the legendary edition Shepard does clearly say "i noticed a few upgrades" so it's very possible. certainly more extended than the average life i'd imagine.

But the little shit also says the crucible (aka creation powerful enough to do such delicate work as weave DNA with synth tech) will destroy everything synth instead of just target the Reapers. Which sounds like bullshit. And then Shep lives! So maybe he was lying about all of that.

Liars is so attractive, Tali is a tad puerile at times, but her overall effervescence oftentimes works brilliantly and that makes her attractive. Miranda's sassiness and self supremacy, her ambition and drive is super sexy. Jack's pure passion is a tad disquieting for me, honestly I think she'd just humiliate you in the bedroom.

If you saw MEA.. you have to know that Shepard´s "back" it´s 95% impossible.. it´s look like this time, is going to be the trilogy of "Ryder".

The Ultimate Dragoon I dont know well Andromeda takes place years after ME3 but was it mentioned that shepard is dead? just because the are other protagonists in ME 4 doesnt mean its impossible that shepard returns in ME5 unless they told that shepard died to save the galaxie. I didn't play Andromeda so far so I dont know if it was mentioned but if not I still got my hopes up fir ME 5

If Bioware takes the history like the trilogy does.. we have 3 options: 1- Shepards survives (Export data obviously from ME2 OR 3 to MEA 5).. 2- He Survives, but he doesn´t going to appear in MEA 5, 3 - He dies.

I don't think there was ever a doubt. Asari don't even need intercourse to reproduce. If I remember correctly, they can get pregnant whenever they want. So she most definitely was going to have children.

Can see an interesting story here however I notice a foil in your plot. You say she has to hide the child? But why? Genetics show an Asari will have the higher gene pool therefore look exactly like the mother. While playing as an asari would be cool you take away the gender choice for Mass Effect being the fact Asari are all female.

Biggest flaw in this (Although this idea is bitchin as Liara is my fav romance option) is that if bioware transfer saves over games then this wouldnt work if you romanced anyone else other than Liara.

But that would assume we all romance Liara. Which I never do, as I don't like the character.

They're not really eyebrows, Liara's facial markings just look like eyebrows.

I don't think it killed it, andromeda is a good game and I don't think it should be blamed for being the death of mass effect.
