Hi - welcome to this weeks mass making workshop. This week, join me to make these gorgeous Gayle Agostinelli faux front envelopes for your junk journals. They can be used and adapted to different sizes, have internal pockets etc, just have fun with them! Hope you manage to craft along, and get some serious mass making done with me during these workshops which I am hoping to upload every Tuesday. Since my mother died 3 years ago I have not had a crafting partner. With the lock downs we have lost all our little craft classes and specially shops. I have an autoimmune disease so I am always home. My crafters like you and Gayle and others are like friends! You save my sanity and I enjoy hearing about your days. Thank you so much. And your crafts are lovely!

I am so sorry to hear about your situation. It’s definitely been a terrible year and the loss of those things like your crafting classes is really sad. I am really pleased to have been part of the ladies who have bought a little sanity during this time. I feel like I am crafting with friends too x

I’m sorry. I take care of my mom. I wish she was well enough to show me how to use the sewing machine. Keep on crafting if you can because I only recently found out how therapeutic a glue stick is. You’re not alone. There’s so many wonderful women crafting on RU-vid with us! So many creative ideas. ❤️

Hello Tina, what a lovely project. Love, love the faux envelope. The little tab is soooo cute and I absolutley loved the yellow rose one with the black and the added window. WOW. These are gorgeous Tina. I love them. I will be making these and hope there as good as yours. Great tip with the lace and the glue, could have done with that this week. I totally agree with you and trainers, they are so expensive the kids want for today. That is one good thing I can say is behind me, buying trainers. lol I have been watching your fabulous tutorials, I tend to craft along side you and full of glue. I actually sent an email to Stampin Up suggesting it would be a great opportunity to bring the whale tail tab back. It seems to me a smaller size tab punch would also be good as well, and scallop edge too. Perhaps others should also make the suggestion to the company too.

I downloaded the “Claridges” papers when you first did them ready to make a journal but haven’t used them yet. Love the envelopes, will hopefully make some when I’ve finished the 3 projects I have on the go at the moment. Xx

Hi Tina, haha it was me that mentioned about the glue. Like I had said, I never tried it, but it seems to have worked quite well. Since you tried it, I’m going to have to try it now 😀. These are so pretty. The first one that you made with the paper that you have been hoarding is my favorite. I am definitely going to make some of these. A little hint...The elf on the shelf...my daughters all have the elf on the shelf for the kids. One of my daughters wrote a note from the elf telling them that he doesn’t visit the North Pole every night. Only a few times when he feels that he has something to report to Santa. So if she forgets to move him, she’s covered 😂. Have fun finishing your Christmas shopping. I am all finished and everything is wrapped. Today I’ll be mailing my Christmas cards and gifts for my one Daughter and Son-in-law and their 3 kids to Japan. My Son-in-law is in the Air Force and that’s where they are stationed. Hugs 🤗

What a great idea, if I forget again, I will quickly write a note from him, and next year I will start the season by writing the note!!! Genius idea, lol! Just finished watching this video I am behind a little bit. I heard your comment about the person telling you about the glue on her hand. I’m not sure it’s the same person, but I saw Edith Wray @ Scrapbooking with ME doing that one day. It could be the same person, I’m not sure!

Thank you Sandy for mentioning that Edith uses that glue on your hand technique for the tricky lace, it's a really handy way of getting glue onto the filled in bits x

Oh, I LOVE these, had not seen them in any of Gayle's videos, thank you for sharing them!! 😊 I am horrified at toxic glue being out on the skin, please put it on waxed paper instead!! There was a movie many years ago (1988) with Meryl Streep on the same true story, 'A Cry in the Dark' an excellent movie! Years later they finally did prove a Dingo carried the baby away, after years of prison and a ruined life, so tragic!

Thank you Chrisann for the tip about the greaseproof paper. Oh I have heard of that movie (never seen it), I didn't realise that it was based on that same story. Yes, what a tragic awful thing to happen! To imagine then serving time in prison for the already unimaginable pain of loosing your child! Just awful, so, so sad x

My girls loved there kitchen. A boyfriend at the time built it for them They were 4 and 5. Your lucky I don't have children with a crafty bone. Well that's not quite true my oldest son does for home decorating and as a executive manager he'll do things for his crew to keep them motivated.

Wow what a clever boyfriend you had! It's a shame that my daughter doesn't really play with the kitchen, but like I say her brother played with it ALL the time. I am so thrilled that my daughter is crafty, none of my other family members are, so it's great to have someone to share things with. Your son sounds lovely doing things to keep his crew motivated :-) x

Had an idea for the tabs. Why not lay the paper over the top over a larger piece of say plain paper,cardstock, or music paper to add a boarder look?

It was from a paper pad that I got over here, I am not sure of the name I'm afraid as I no longer have the pad itself. It isn't a Graphic 45 one though sadly, I love their papers, but haven't ever had any of theirs x

You could either stick them into a journal (maybe via the envelop flap or on the side of a page for example. Or alternatively you could just paper clip them in x

Just search Whale Tail Punch it was made by StampinUp but discontinued and very hard (and expensive) to find now. We are memory keepers do something similar (TAB punch) but I have seen mixed reviews about the quality. I dont know where you live but you might be able to find second hand one if you live in the States
