Massacre at Bayou Texar - Pensacola, Florida  

A bloody U.S. raid struck a Muscogee (Creek) refugee camp at Bayou Texar in the Spanish city of Pensacola in April 1818. The massacre in Spanish Florida took place just weeks before Andrew Jackson's better-known capture of the Spanish capital. Native American women and children were left dead and dying near what is now downtown Pensacola, while only one U.S. soldier was killed. ‪@TwoEggTV‬ brings the story of this forgotten tragedy back from the dustbin of history in a mini-documentary that is long overdue.
