Karen I made them today. Just a small batch using 200g cocoa butter and 30g of Shea butter and beeswax. They turned out AMAZING! Silky smooth skin after using these. I posted a picture on my Instagram and tagged you. Thank you so much for giving us this gorgeously lush recipe 💖

I might tweak it a little and add a little more beeswax so the bars are a little harder (it's quite warm here in the summertime). I truly appreciate all of the content that you post, you are fantastic! (I also loved the Aero chocolate reference, I'm originally from Canada and that is my favourite chocolate bar!)

I love these...I like them with a lot of fragrance also. It's a great way for me to add moisture and perfume all at the same time. I'm so glad you're back and sharing your creativity with us. I am so guilty of melting a hole in the bottom of a plastic measuring cup. Opened the microwave door and hot beeswax was pouring out all over the glass plate and bottom of the microwave. Had to toss out that little microwave oven, never could get it cleaned out all the way. That was back 8 or 9 years ago...Bet I keep an eagle eye on the microwave now, and I learned the very hard way to be patient and as you advised heat things in one minute increments. Love that you're still sharing your journey with us. 👍💕👍

Hey there, is Deb here. Another great video thank you! This is my 3rd video of yours that I have watched as I am in is recent subscriber and I've commented on the last couple videos that I have watched as well. I love how those hearts turned out with the rose buds on them. I live in the United States so I'm sure that you are supplies come from the England area or at least in Europe. Good quality supplies are hard to find here at least at a reasonable rate. I had just lovely message on the last video prior to this one talking about how I was opening my own soap shop and a detached shop from then a home that will Be leasing soon. I have been going through many of the soap companies here in the United States just trying to come up with an idea of what it will cost per week to run. Just the supplies alone I think are going to kill me lol but I have about $6000 to invest up front in setting it up and supplies to start out with and. It will be an already existing building with the Utilities run to it with a bathroom and be able to add a kitchen area on the opposite wall of the sync in order to have a kitchen in that building is well. You just don't find an outbuilding with the kitchen built into it very often lol . Like I was saying that I'm sure that you are prices come from stores that are in your neck of the woods as my grandmother would say she's a country girl from the South here in America. Bet the prices you get I'm sure are those in Europe which would not be good on my budget lol and that's at a serious Management decision Lol. Help... What did I do wrong. Followed the recipe. Only thing I did differently was make 1/4 size batch. Solidified only to the point of vaseline.

Actually, flashpoint is simply the temperature that a fragrance oil will combust when exposed to open flame. People making gel candles need to be concerned with this but for soaping and soy candles it isn’t a problem. I pour my FOs into my soy wax at 185F so the FO can bind to the wax better. It won’t burn off fragrance.

If you swap beeswax for cetyl alcohol you still get the glide rather than the dragging of beeswax plus it's a lovely emollient as well.

I like the bars but I think the rose petals are a bit wasteful.

You should only use 1% or less of Essential/Fragrance oils per 100g for "leave-on" products.
