this is fantastic a pity that a lot of regiments are no longer... they sound so awesome..

Awesome to see. Back in the days where there where many regiments. Same here in Denmark. We had around 10 infantry regiments in 1977, now we have 2, the foot guards and a newly rebuildt light infantry.

Give us back our old regiments!

Last time that Scottish regiments beating retreat was 1990

If you had told me that day that in the not to distant future all the regiments on parade would be relegated to the history books l would have laughed. Those days will never come again, it's still unpalatable to this day what was done in the name of cost savings.

Hallo ! Very nice tunes and fantastic playing! I dont know if you can help but i will try. A long time ago and i cannot say for sure when, it must have been between !976 and 1980 but even that is not sure I saw on tv pipe bands playing in a stadium. They started really slow and were getting faster til they were playing reels and they were runnig at the same time! I even dont know wich stadium this has been or in wich country this was. I know this is not a lot and its a long time ago but does anybody knows anything about it and can give me a hint whre I can find a recording or anything of that kind?
