I've been watching you repaint the 1800 so I went back to watch you paint the 1805 and considering how good this tractor still looks 2 years later I have no doubt that the 1800 will look fantastic for a long time to come.
Like your channel. I have a 1505 with less than 3000 hours. Put a blade on it for plowing snow on my acerage up in saskatchewan Canada. Like the way you fixxed up that ole 1805.
Hey JT about the wobbly tachcable you had on the Massey my 1985 Case 1294 has the same issue as well and whenever you rev the engine the vibrating gets even worse it makes you think that the exhaust manifold is leaking but it's not at idle the vibrating stops so by monday i will hopefully get the new cable for it and everything should be fine all i need to do to remove it is disconnecting the cable from the tach and then there is a c-clip that holds the cable in place and a bolt on the side behind the power steering expansion tank so i might have to take it loose while replacing the cable there are also 2 o-rings in the cabledrive which i am not sure are a available i can try find replacement ones if i can't i will put either oil or grease on them and i should be fine 😅
You know dang well, iffin you put enough red lipstick on that ole gurl, she'll look pretty dang classy. She's quite the looker now. Dang near an auction house rebuild! Gotta say, Richie Brothers is looking for people with yer talent. Nice work JT, very nice work.
Sure I will say you have forgotten more than I will probably ever know you are not scared to take on any challenge no matter how big nor small electrical Paint Body Work no matter you are good at it unfortunately in my case I never grew up around that stuff too much my dad wasn't a mechanic buy any by any means so I am kind of like self-taught and I'm also scared to try certain things I was more or less departure changer on the farm if it was broke it was up to me to fix it but I give you a hell of a lot of credit for all the stuff you have done as far as that I wish I could be half of what you are as far as mechanical and I never really had a place to work on things maybe someday I will have a job but as I am going to be 52 years old I do not see that in my future I only wish but is my dad would say wishing one hand shit another see which one fills up first but thank you learning a lot keep up the great work
A lot of that tractor’s design came from a Versatile D145. I have a 145, and I have to say I like the Massey cab better. But the Versatile was a much better built tractor. I like Fluffy.
Great job as always! I'm curious about where you are finding the decals, those look pretty dang good. Feeling a little nostalgic for my dad's 1805 back in the day
@@jtsbarnngrill6873 Thanks bro, I found some for my 1080 a while ago but they were only so-so quality. Looking to give our 6280 a facelift here pretty soon.
JT, I'm curious about the extra green wire from the tach video. What was it for? I would've asked there, but you have comments off for that video. New subscriber here so I'll be checking out more of your stuff!
Thanks for subscribing! The green wire by itself on top is for the backlight. I didn’t bother with that one because none of the lights currently work on the ol turd, but in a future video I’ll be tackling that 😉
@@jtsbarnngrill6873 can't wait to see it! Will the 1100 get the same luck of getting a cab kit? Remember me one thing please! does the 1805 has an active pto and is the hidraulick system functional? if so we just got yourself a great fleet! at your expense and eford but what a great fleet!
Do the Walmart cab kit. Whatever weather strip they have, some rattle can touch up, plasti-dip, and lots of bedliner! I forgot the black ice air freshener!
I really like how you do your videos. I enjoy watching videos about junk that even I could afford 😂 Paint sure smartened up how turd Ferguson looks. No sense being poor and looking poor, that's what my mom always says.
Thank you! For me, it’s all about the challenge, definitely gives a small sense of pride to take something left to rot and make it not only useable but make it look like something to be proud of
FarmerPhil youtube channel from Ireland just picked up a MF1200 for their uncle. Smaller version of yours look like. They plan to do it up to be ready for the uncle for spring ploughing. It’s a sweet but sad story as the man is ill.
made a huge difference outside the tractor. I didn’t think it would be that much as I didn’t think it was all that loud to begin with, but MUCH quieter
Just saying a buddy of mine that paints used used Vaseline 2 inches up around the wheel and then he would just wipe it off along with the paint but your idea is also great
Always wonder too what the main differance between the 1805 and the 1505. Cant see much. Mine has 3 hyd. Out lets and single wheels but cant really see much dif.
