I have the same baler and I am going through the same struggles. Broken needles, bent forks, broken chains. But knots every time and beautifully. My windrows were rained on two days ago and I probably won’t baler them up for a week. They are trash I’m watching to see how you make out. Tip: turn off that PTO on a turn. I am curious what size shear bolt you run. I noticed the parts manual calls out a 5/16 bolt but indicates it has an 11/32 shank. My Grade 2, 5/16 shear bolts, which are represented to be for a Massy 12 baler, appear to have a 5/16 shank. The extra 1/32 inch slop in the shear bolt bushing is going to take a toll on the bushings and allow the shear bolts to fatigue and shear when there really isn’t an obstruction. Maybe I just need to buy shear bolts from somewhere else.
