I have the same tractor and watched all 4 episodes about fuel system. This process and an additive to make up for ULSD lack of lubrosity(sp?) will keep my old trusty running longer than me.
I very much enjoyed and appreciated the video. Would you be okay with me sharing this video on my RU-vid channel? I have a farming channel and I have one of these tractors that I'm doing some work on. This video was extremely helpful to me. It was very well put together and very detailed. Thanks
@@johnp1388 Thank you! I took it for a long (300 km 13h) nonstop roadtrip yesterday across the southern part of Sweden on its own wheels to delivery the tractor home and it really runs like a clock, not bad for a 57 year old girl. I have now bought all filters and oil to the first main service. Its my first tractor.
Hi! Recently bought a 35x. Looks like it has sat for a long time. So I am doing what I can to shapen it up. Your videos are good help for me. I want to clean the strainer in the sumt. Have you done that on yours. Does your book say anything about the nesessity to do so? My service manual doesnt.
By the way, when bleeding the fuel. My feeder pump isnt pumping much so really have to pump many times before I see i little squirt from the vent hole on the filter. Dont know if that is supposed to be so. Anyway, i,m not long enough to stand on one side of tractor and look on the other. So attached a string to the pump handle and put it under the tractor. That way I can pull on it while looking at the vent hole. Just a little tip when you are on your own.
Hello and thanks for your comment. I wondered the same thing myself when doing the bleeding procedure however, there was nothing mentioned in the publications that I followed. Where Exactly would you say the fuel is bled from the Secondary Filter?
Yes I indeed did miss the secondary filter, have been reminded of that previously. I was just going from the Workshop Manual. I wonder why it was not written in there? 🤷♂🤷♂ Anyway, it worked
Can you at least use the tools the correct way please Sir. You had the wrench and the adjustable wrench on the bolt head backwards. Not good for teaching purposes😊😊
