A beautiful tractor. I have a IMT 539 identical to the 35 Massey Ferguson .Great tractors. With mine I Bushhog in 3rd low rpm's between 1,800 and 2,200. Good video.

You are going to fast for the mower to cut properly! Drop to 3d low, and up the reeves a little. I don't know weather you are just topping it, or if you are going to make hay, well # !? ops. It is a nice Tractor though, look after it and it will go on forever. You have the best 3 cylinder engine, the faithful Perkins, excellent.
@@alistairpitts Looks to me like its had a decent amount of work done. Plough light new. Front tyres, decals, seat, all recent. Guessing that the oil pressure is high once warmed up and it doesn't look to smoke much once warmed up. Replacement footplates, intended for an earlier Ferguson model. Rear guards look correct, but perhaps in too good nick to be original. Front lights added at some point. Paint looks too good to be original, the rubber waterpipe return to the radiator and air intake pipe have been sprayed grey so I'm guessing it's had an enthusiast's respray and I'd guess been at least part-rebuilt in the last decade or so. Might be my old eyes deceiving me though. Just the way I like them. A nice useable machine that you can properly use and bash about a little without getting too worried.
