Just sold my brother's 4880 and 4900 from his estate. Well maintained and had greater value than I expected. Those tractors, along with the 1800 and 1805, did a lot of work for many years!
Back in the mid 80's a neighbor of mine bought a new 4880. The only problem I remember him having was the welds on the fuel tanks cracked. Other than that it was a good tractor. He used to develop land for irrigation.
nowadays you'd get sued for making other brands look bad in your ads. Even if it's true. But what they're really showing here is that the others don't have a transmission that's properly matched to the engine and the machine
Later Massey 4wd’s used the Versatile transmission. I all know is, I wouldn’t trade our three Versatiles for one of these. You see many more old Versy’s still working out there today.
