I was in Calhoun over the weekend and saw that there was a tornado warning for the Jerseyville area. The news channels handle severe weather over there so much differently than here in Oklahoma. When we have severe weather and possible tornadic storms, the local stations have multiple storm chasing crews on the ground and a helicopter monitoring the storm from above. In the STL area they just tell you to take your precautions in a general area and that there may be a tornado present, no precise information whatsoever! It blows my mind. Hope your farm is starting to dry out. I was impressed to see that most farms over there have been planted other than a few small spots and areas still under water. It's a historic year for sure.
