Enjoy your video. I grew up driving Massey Ferguson’s starting with the 100 series. Today I have a nice 1990 MF 3070 93hp cab. Would love to have a 5713 for my 15ft batwing Bushhog. I have two other tractors a 5320 JD cab 64hp and a 539 IMT 39hp. I think Massey has the best looking tractors on the market. My son has a new JD 5090 I drove serval JD ‘s they make a good tractor also . My neighbor has a Case IH C 70 only a couple of years old I like it also good tractor. Massey’s are my favorite because I drove so many of them over the years and we had good service from them. Over the years my dad had probably close to 20 different Massey’s. And I have 4 of my siblings that still have Massey’s. Kentucky USA.
That is a seriously nice machine. When I think of the cost of something like a new Hi-spec Range Rover compared to that Massey, I begin to question is one vastly over-priced or the other under-priced. There seems to be a heck of a lot more for your money in the Massey. It should be good to see Harry doing a review, he's sure to spot something no-one else has thought about. Great video and thanks for taking the time Richard.
Hi Richard, your having some fun today👍 its great you are working in style and comfort. Cab suspension and your siting on an air seat and dyna four is great job. Keep the good work up.
The main thing about getting a tractor or any piece of machinery is dealer service and backup. No point having the best machine in the world if there’s no bugger to fix them within 150 miles.
good for you Richard. It looks like a smart machine. I do hope you are able to get it as you have had a tough two years and you deserve something nice! cheers!
Seat sniffer Farmer P 😂😂😂😂. When we were lads we used to always find those "Mens magazines" in our hedges. Had a little layby next to one of our fields which was lets say a spot for secret lovers !. Its was always littered in Feu Orange Traffic Light Air Fresheners (Need to be a certain age to remember them.) And lots of funny shapped burst ballons 🧐🧐🤣🤣
when changing range usiing the button on side of gear selector, be careful not to hold it for too long or you can lock the range and it wont change out untill you do the same again to unlock it.
Beautiful new machine! I always like Massey as it was one of the local dealers where I live in Nova Scotia (now we only have Kubota and Branson nearby). They have one of the better looking tractors these days. I think you wouldnt regret buying one!
I’m a Massey fan myself but you should probably go for the 5713 the extra horse power is hand especially for the dung spreader etc. you should also demo the NH that farmer p had
You, George, Ian - all showing off new tractors. Almost jealous but I know how you feel as I got a nearly new one last year - not even 200 hours. . So much difference to the old one. Don't want or need a cab - wouldn;t fit in the Shed. Love things like hydrostatic gears, Auto PTO shutoff when you lift the linkage and best of all Cruise Control. Enjoy while you can before it becomes "normal - Crack On!
Massey's are still great tractors, love the comment on Farmer P's t-shirt 😂😂 that's me to a T , have fun trying different demo tractors and see which works out the best and get Harry to do some research on each one as a project
Nice, but what about warranty period, this tractor is very high tech, Good warranty would be high on my list, also ask other in community that have one how it holding up, Good luck with tractor,
The way we play farm sim on hard / realistic world style would never be able to afford a new tractor for lol. Still driving the 180 / 90 fiat and 7610 lol
Hi hows it goin . I was just watching ur vid of the demonstrator fergie . . The sloped bonnet version would suit u better . Lots more vision for the loader . It would have the same cab engine etc gearbox but it will have the the sloped bonnet like i said . Dont kbow what price difference there would be . Maybe worth speaking to chandlers if that model would be available . As far as mcormic goes i think thers a brand new range out might be worth a look at those too . Always gd to try a couple of different makes go compare them . Also valtra would be a nice tractor to try . It will have the same agco engine in it plus they have a few different gearbox options to have . I agree bout the quickie loaders ive used them for many years all different models they just get better and better . The mini loder control lever is better in my opinion more electrics mind but very reliable . Pls take care .
The standards of modern tractors today are higher than the standards of modern cars. Your investing in a item that's going to be a workhorse on the farm for 20/ 30 + years. Cars today have a life expectancy for about 10 years before you have to get a new one it's how the manufacturers can guarantee that you need to get a new car.
You've only done that because farmer p's got A new tractor on demo And you don't wanna be left out And that is how it is coming across Personally to me
Well if you had any sense you see harry clearly got more interest in the farming and machinery so of course he’s going to mention him more when talking about it
