thanks for the interest hope there not to boring if you like massey's i have a bit of a treat in store as i have just had my 6260 resprayed and put new fenders on it looks a treat as for the 6100s it just depends on what u want it for exactly ?? the 6160 is a good lump with a straight 6 non turbo engine with at a round 100hp i used it for post knocking as it has a bit more length weight to for stabilty with the knocker on the back weighing 1.5 tons i have used it for baling and muckspreading i
i think it is a good sterdy tractor with plenty of power which managed everything i asked of it but being a bigger tractor it is a bit tight around our small yard the 6150 is a 4 cylinder turbo about 94 hp i was surprised how lively ang gutsey it is for a smaller tractor it all depends on what work you want it for i think the 6150 was a touch petter on fuel consumpition as the 6160 did wheely abit on steep hills with the knocker on even with weight on the front
Oh not at all, love your videos, massey ones in particular, only boring to those who dont appreciate!!. Keep on sharing please!! I love the ound of the 6 cylinder perkins, but was concerned that it may be harder on juice than the 4cyl turbo. what would the advantage to haviong it oer the 6150 assuming they have similar power, would lift capacity front and rear differ? comfort and size etc.
to be honest i dont think itwould make alot of difference to be honest ive seen 6150s on the same tyres as my 6260 540 65 r38 440 65 r28 and they look a beast of a tractor a proper pocket rocket the cab and gearbox is the same so comfort is all there for both but i think the 60 do come with a air seat as standard and the 50 is just a mechanical i think the 60 does have more lift capasity what will u be doing with it?
