I have a Massay 65, gas tractor. I want to watch your video. The tripod is your friend. Looking at video of your knees and whatever else you pointed at while trying to start your tractor isn't what I tuned in for. You can try a camera as a headlamp, and edit that footage in, but the well placed tripod view is really your go-to. Thanks. Looking forward to more content;)
Replace the cap, rotor, points and rob a coil from one of the Ford pickups. To eliminate wiring problems hotwire the coil with a + cable straight from the battery. If you hotwire it remember to remove the live wire going to the coil when you stop cranking. If you leave the power on for too long without cranking the points will burn or the coil will explode.
Even the points might look good but that means it’s working it may not work even if the points look good. So I would maybe clean the points after that move the points with a tool to see if it speaks. If it is then the points are good but if not then try to clean the points to see if that helps get speak.
