I own one of the gc1710 models. I liked the unit. I looked at the "green" one as well as the "orange" one, but decided to go with the MF. Mainly because of the value you get with the price, plus the reputation of MF. I only wish the dealer would've shown me how to remove loader and backhoe. The delivery driver explained it, but that's about it. I still can't remove the loader and it takes me nearly 30 mins to hookup or remove backhoe. The dealer promised to come out and show me, but they never came. I work long hours, but they explained that shouldn't be a problem, either. None the less, I am frustrated everytime I want to use it because it's such a chore. I have contacted customer service numerous times and either they hang up on me or keep switchimg me to other reps. I was able to get a different dealer to put me through to their tech support and found out that my hydraulics hoses were connected wrong from factory, which from what he told me, is a commin problem. That would explain why my 3pt hitch did not work when I followed the instructions sent to me from the tech. I have all emails as proof and have the call recorded. I did not receive the correct manuals and I was told I'd have to purchase them. They were supposed to have came with it. I got the manual for the mower, but I figured it out with out it. This was the worst experience and customer service I have ever experienced.
I'm quite impressed with the MF tractors these days. I own a John Deere 1025r that I'm quite pleased with. If I needed a second tractor I'd be very interested in the MF lineup
