They have been more impressive in the field and bale quality they producer. We have new series of dry balers born from the design of the RB4100 Series in the New RB1 Series Dry Hay Balers.

AGCO bought Lely Forage Division. Lely had a partnership with Vermeer before the purchase but no longer does. AGCO is selling Baler as Massey Ferguson in North America and Massey Ferguson or Fendt Brand overseas. Vermeer is no longer selling this baler and Kuhn has never been a partner or purchased this machine.

120 PTO HP is recommended for the RB4180V Round Baler when making 4'x6'. 1000PTO for 4'x5' Silage Bales with Cutter and max travel speed.

Why would my massey net bit cut, works for 10 bales then nothing but trouble itll work then it wont.

First Question is What kind of Net Wrap you are using there is a wide variety of qualities of Net Wrap and it makes a huge difference is reliability of the Net System. IF you only have 10 bales and having concern, best thing is to contact your local dealer you purchased from and have them come take a look.

What’s the pto hp requirement

4180V is recommended on 120 PTO HP Tractor when all 17 knives and baling for maximum capacity of the baler. If you use only one bank 8 or 9 knives and no not need to travel a maximum capabilities of the baler you can get by with less PTO HP. Wet Hay versus Dry Hay matters too. Have heard some using 80 PTO HP with no knives and slowing tractor speeds down. Plus ground contours matter too. Hills and slopes require more HP. We sold this baler with Massey Ferguson 6713 (110 PTO HP) and customer running 1 bank of knives and says bales as fast as he needs too.

Thanks for the info. I have a MF 583 and am looking into getting a baler in the next year or two. I have relatively flat land that is currently in row crop production but I will be converting it into grass pasture for dry hay production. What baler (round and square) would you recommend for my tractor? Thank you.

This Baler was acquired by AGCO when they purchased Lely and is now being branded as Massey Ferguson in North America. It does not have anything to do with Krone. I had to search what Krone was as we don't have a dealer anywhere close to us here in West Central Missouri. Never seen a Krone Baler but there are lots of RB Series Massey Ferguson growing in this area. Here more and more people buying.
