Dosa is a staple food in South India not in North India. You get similar types of large Dosas (not this large though) in Mumbai too. They are called Paper Dosa coz they are big like Newspapers 🙂

Yep, Roti, Chapati and Naan are more common in North India. Dosa is a very south Indian Dish, pronounced slightly differently in different south Indian states.

Amazing from start to finish. I love when you take us behind the scenes and we are right in there with the action. Everything presented looked SO tasty 😋 Thank you Raina for sharing this with us all. I knew you’d breeze through this. I personally appreciate how you always explain the meal and any condiments served along side. Again great presentation. Sadly I cannot stomach too many spices. this is a south indian breakfast...this was by far your easiest challenge....in south india especially in the state of tamil nadu you have so many varieties and longer dosas as well...
