no actually what im saying is that music groups are defined by how they sound and what they consist of not by what instrument they are made by, so just because electro is made by a computer it doesnt mean its not a genre it just means its music made by a computer it doesnt mean that it shouldnt count as a genre.

They probably didn’t pay Quintin Terrentiono for the sample at the beginning. Putting it on Spotify (a platform that pays artists per play) would mean they would be making cash off something that isn’t fully theirs... Check out Daft Punk. Biggest douches on the music industry, they’ve made MILLIONS off of their songs which use samples from songs from as old as the twenties, didn’t give them proper credit and banked on it. Unfortunately they’re so big that the artists are either dead or don’t have the heavy lawyers to go after them properly! Always pay the originator if you didn’t create it!

yes ive heard of them also feed me and knife party are very good dubstep artists, and ive found one ambient dubstep producer who is very talented but nobody has heard of him at all, "djkites" is his name i advise you to check him out. some of his songs are unbelievable
People want their favorite artist to blow up and get big but when they do they're "too mainstream." One it's two people, two enjoy the music because it's still as great as it was. Artist can never win with their fans.
Zeds Dead is so called becoz of the film Pulp Fiction. During the film Butch flees after killin Zed with a samurai and takes his chopper (motorbike). After picking up his girl Fabienne from the motel she questions him in wtf he's doing with this new bike. The scene concludes memorably, with Bruce Willis quoting "Zed's dead baby, Zeds dead.." Hope that clears it up :P
dubstep can be made both ways as well as electro, its called a genre because there's a large group of music made that way not because it is or isn't made on a computer. ( *. *)^
