The Warlock has good DPS (and is also a good healer), mainly DoT. From what I know, not broken in any way. We could define it as the eternal second: while the first DPS changes (Ranger, Rogue, Wizard), the Warlock, with the same rotation for years, always does his job in a discreet manner. And if you know how to use it well, it really kicks ass. Sure, some updates should be done (more burst damage, some currently useless encounters and dailies), but maybe in this game shining too much is not good XD.
Buffed so many class except DPS fighter which recent damage increase need to use vengeance whereas other class no need. Sad game for the endgame dps fighter class.
@Toh2486 I've played a fighter dps for the last 4 years and it's always performed very well. Now keep in mind that a lot of the recent changes can skew the performance perspective on how good it is.
I think this is fine. With artifact calls other dps will out dps bard with big hitters. It might be a lil more dps in ST but overall bard doesn’t have strong AOE compared to other classes so I see it pretty balanced
well testing is all good but unless you test it in an artifact call we dont get a clear picture of how far ahead it is or if it is that much. Without a hard hitting daily + the effectiveness of mount insignia to reduce encounter cooldown. Also playing bard dps in dungeons is in my opinion the nicest gameplay you can find in this game. Also what you are saying is false information a well built bard kill stuff faster than my perfectly built ranger in solo content and I farmed so many of those miniboss in new campaign to know which one kill them faster. The debuff you can run make them melt its ridiculous.
Massive buff, massive rework, Nerfs, changes, hot fixes, not preforming as expected, will be balanced…😅 man I like this game but it’s constant change now for how many years? Just when I was getting used to a wizard, now it’s getting nerfed, others are getting better, and let’s not forget the most annoying part the insane amount of wait time for DPS classes for random dungeons. If I play a tank or healer, I have to wait there until I get matched. Switching back and forth between dps and healer/tank is just annoying.😕 I guess that’s what we get with “free to play” constant changes to keep you buying more and more.💯
Your tests against dummies, can give some insight, but don't lead the feedback in the wrong direction, there are a lot of variables, daily was just one of them, you not using mount is also another variable to consider, since some classes like bard do not have any big general damage multipliers, while others like arbiter can have with class features 15+10= 25% more additive damage and 30% multiplicative damage to mount powers, not saying arbiter is op, just an example of differences between flat damage accessible by different classes but casted by different classes which can vary a lot.
