Glad to see he got it down all in one piece! We had one to go down at a Jet Rally we had and his outcome wasn’t good. He had a flame out and then a ball of fire shot out from the tail and at the same time it came straight down as in dropped like a rock in flames. It was a BA Hawk.

That was perfect! The launch was pretty much on stall but that never happened again. I don't fly jets, maybe that is normal. But then it was going on, that was some great flying! Better yet, as soon as the plane squirted fire it was expertly landed. Landing under pressure pretty much sums up this hobby on the off days, and this guy nailed it! In a jet! That is someone who really gets how it works. That plane will fly again, and if the dude who yelled "it's on fire" was not completely off base, this is a win. Of course if it was not actually on fire and that level of sooty flame can be considered 'normal' for a turbine, welll, glad I fly hotliners. Not only are we faster,when we squirt flames you really know you are eff***xkced.

Why the hell would you drop the gear and full flaps on a low power emergency landing? Could've bellied it clean (No gear or flaps) without a scratch 😑

Τhe worst case scenario is to flame out the engine, good landing after that.

Looked like a flame out not a plane on fire. That looked like a fei bao F15. Considering what he had to work with that could have been much worse. Hopefully the damage internationally wasn't to bad.

On fire….really worse thing he could of shouted. Obvious flameout with that sort of flame out the back. Pilot did ok but I think was spooked by the stupid comment. At least 90% of the models ok.

Wes, when you we giving us the live stream, l wanted to see how much this stuff cost. So of them Turbine Engines cost over $4,500 and up! I screenshot all the different websites that you streamed, but none of them where Airframes. So when you showed us the Turn Key Jet for $7,000 I wasn’t shocked! You have to have big bucks to do that type of flying. Not in my budget, that’s for sure. After taking a 27 year hiatus from flying everything I owned is Nitro. Can’t get on the ground to start them anymore. So I decided to go all electric. All my Transmitter’s are 72 Hz, so I bought a NX8 & NX6, and the list goes on & on. I spent well over what the Jet costs! Every time I see something I like I buy it. 😝 LOL.

Panic much? I'm still trying to figure out why he had to stuff it like that? Ok, an engine goes. You have another one. Point it at the runway, put the nose down and maintain airspeed to keep it flying as far back to the runway as possible. No reason for all those speed bleeding turns and landing gear BS till the field is made. Next time, look at your watch and breathe, and fly the plane.

Easy easy fix, couple hours and it will be flying again. Just ripped the gear out.
