Whoa ! Scary. amazing pics w/ locations marked. Thank You. I will be content with the cold and snow in the northeast adirondack mountains. Wishing all of you safety and perseverance. And strength in community. Heartfelt blessings in this difficult time. Namaste
I live in Nebraska, and it was a horrible flood that devastated many lives, whether human, domestic animal, or wild animal. All those animals who live in burrows near water sources were drowned, and many domestic animals got killed by the floods. There was a man trying to rescue strangers trapped who was killed. I am not from Nebraska, but the level of love and care and sharing has been amazing to me. People here are a true example of human integrity. Helping each other.
Im from Nebraska... Thank you for the very informative video. Now I can see just how bad it is everywhere else... and its probably gonna get worse. The Missouri river is expected to crest at 45 ft... it could be a nuclear disaster. Three power plants are located on the river.
'informative????'....there was zero dialog. Lets pretend most that see this video Know nothing of this part of the country and would like some type of descriptive narrative of some kind....too much to ask?
@@drew-shourd It was visually informative to be able to see the extent of the damage. I live in NE but still do not know this state in any completeness. Your critical response of the flooding video content is completely sad....So many are suffering great loss, but you still feel entitled to bitch because your needs didn't get met. You want more verbal news then search around.
So approximately how many towns are flooded? Because to be honest this looks really bad and the funny thing is I've heard not one word about this on the News...
Sid Morgan I have no idea honestly. It includes both big and small cities. I’d say 20+ But this is the Midwest and nobody really cares about here. It’s big news locally, though.
@@MissDrahota I bet it is LBVS! It's hard to get a scope and scale of the destruction but it appears to be pretty wide spread! How long has it been going on?
@@MissDrahota thank you for the video and update. Americans should care. The Midwest is like the dinner table for the US. Could possibly be why no national media coverage. I felt guilty up voting a video of so much devastation. Thank you again for sharing.
Sid Morgan you ask how many towns are flooded? Its not only urban but rural areas. If you assumed the east half of the state was flooded I don't think you would miss the mark. The frost is still in the ground sealing it, nothing soaked in. Rivers were still frozen over when it started raining and rainwater went where gravity took it. Bridges were jack hammered by ice 18 inches thick in chunks the size of vehicles. Farms and Ranches where hay and grain were stored were flooded or just simply washed away along with cattle helpless to get away. I have never seen water covering land anywhere near the extent of anything I have seen or in historical photographs. This is dire. There is nothing people could do but get out of the way and I hope they all did. Think about Nebraska when you attend worship services today.
It came from a really bad blizzard we had a month ago followed by snowstorms. And then the temps got really high out of nowhere and a rainstorm came in and melted everything. And since the rivers were still frozen that made it worst with ice jams.
Extended family have been there for over a hundred years they knew. We went every summer, I moved there far 15 years. I know where this filming is, and I've heard from my nieces and nephews, it's unlike anything. I'm a person who has been in their basements for many hours due to bad weather. This is serious. If my Facebook and Yahoo accounts were available to me, I could have first hand accounts. I hope and pray my friends family coworkers are safe. None of us are safe, if the nuclear plants are compromised . I use my real name, and I remember and pray for everyone of you.
Anderson's if you say speak up. Lingenfelter christensen's, and my best lady at my wedding. What is going on near Plainview. I want to know, and people need to know that the Bread Basket of the world is threatened, and what about the nuclear plants? Where are the Halls? Tiger, tell us what everybody's saying, Grandpa Elmer question marks. Bob and Nancy..April? What's going on out there? Bob Lingenfelter, future senator, and Julie. 1st and Kim. There's no other way of knowing. Miss you all. Where is Schindler's List?
