I recently cleared out all my makeup and kept faves... gone are the days of drawers and drawers $1000s and $1000s of dollars on hand to not enjoy any of it...now I use and enjoy what I have. Why did i ever think I needed hoards of makeup!!!!! Such a waste for years!

@@HeyTiki exactly! I went into debt and wasted any little money. Thought I was going to be a makeup artist any excuse to keep buying...was all about having the newest makeup luckily the hype has died down I believe!

A one hour vlog, stoked for this. My method is that I only keep what will fit in a dedicated area instead of adding additional storage. I need to use up or recycle anything I don't use before I add anything else. This has kept me on track and helped save money. Love to see Boo! 🐱‍👤

this inspired me to delclutter all of mine that has been sitting in a drawer since 2019 LOL. also -- i'm not sure if you have one nearby, but you can donate the unopened lipsticks, and some of the other gently used stuff to a womens shelter! that way it can still get some use. 💕

Watching your two declutter videos made me realise how important it is to have thoughtful purchases instead of buying impulsively and then decluttering so much, especially unopened and unused items. I hope you get some of your investment back. :) P.S. will you be doing a reorganisation video? 😬 The organisational OCD in me is itching to see you organise these drawers by categories now.

Will you go through the drawers now and organise them into categories so all palettes, foundations etc are all together? I wonder if you could get down to one set of drawers. I really admire how ruthless you were. I always feel so bad decluttering as only some stuff can be sold on or recycled. 😞 I also love that this is a nice long video with explanations and close ups :)

Do you ever get rid of something and later regret it or wish you had kept it? Sometimes I'll look for something I tossed, forgetting that it's gone. But I don't find myself regretting it. If I can't find it I just figure...well, I must've cleaned that out, oh well! Haha

The main things I've ever regreted getting rid of are things that I've later decided I want to have for nostalgia, not to use. I have a small container of stuff I keep because of the packaging/memories.

My two faced blushes in that heart packaging went off a long time ago and I’m pretty sure they started growing mold on the surface! Such a bummer! Jealous yours are still good!!

@dreamland the smell/texture/color/lasting power changing are the main things I look out for with older makeup.

@dreamland some powders can last that long but I wouldn't use any liquid or cream products that are that old as they attract more bacteria. Cleaning your hands before doing your makeup and cleaning your brushes often should help your products last longer though.

Those super sentimental things you should frame or put in a shadow box. They obviously mean a lot to you and bring you joy. You shouldn’t have to get rid of them.

Pallets have always had like 2 or 3 colors that I end up wearing, so I stopped bying them and supporting ungrateful people, but now I have VERY minimal makeup!! Definitely something that you do not need to waste money on! Find what works for you and less is the best with money and application 👌

I love that you have so many classics! I like to see them because I saw them all on IG when they blew up but I never bought most of them. The most popular or on trend makeup item or palette I ever bought was the gingerbread from too faced, shape tape concealer, stila magnificent metals eyeshadow, Kat Von D tattoo liner, and the Jeffree star androgynous palette. Oh and I got morphe natural 35O for my 21st bday. 💄

Ahh man send my your unwanted palettes I’ll properly disinfect them a couple times before using the palettes. I have that 39a dare to create palettes amazing. I love it the black is super soft and getting ready to break. Love declutter videos. I know your not going to give your palettes away to us RU-vid stalkers but it would be nice. Lol!!
