Holy smokes Cindy! What an amazing haul!! Don't get me started on blues & greens!! LOL! That one piece is Spanish Lace I believe!! The one with clear lace on top that you got for $4, WOW!! I would LOVE to see how you arranged all your milk glass in your kitchen!! PLEASE! :) Soooo beautiful!!!! TFS! Hugs, Sue
Thank you Sue! I have a lot to do but when I get finished I will share it as well as my craft room. I want to paint my kitchen cabinets white but that will take some time. TFW.....Blessings, Cindy I love the blue and green milk glass too, not sure where I will put it. Maybe I will redo my bedroom.
I don't usually give an opinion on the lovely things you buy but that shade is so original and unusual it reached right through and grabbed my attention. It almost looks Art Deco. Very unusual. Glad u kept it. You have really good taste in the items you keep.
the candle holder--there are candles at hobby lobby that has a"nipple" on the end they are different diameters but they sit better and more secure in the holder. they are more expensive but they last a long time. First time visiting your channel I enjoy it.
That small vase with the IG on bottom is made by Imperial Glass. The one with the clear edge is called Silver Crest and it’s the more expensive collection of milk glass. I collect also and I have many items. I bought a book on eBay or amazon called The Big Book of Fenton Milk Glass 1940-1983. It’s very helpful. 🙂 I’ve been finding a lot with the grape & leaf pattern lately. The scalloped cut out edging is called lace edge. Actually the colored milk glass is worth a lot more than the white.
OMG!!! You're killing me over here lol. Wow! I wish I lived where you live hehe. Awesome deals on the milk glass and the blue pieces are gorgeous! TFS hugs - Letty
OMG, the mother load of muffin tins. I can't find any here in Florida. Hope you plan on altering some. Have fun with decorating and altering and playing with all your new goodies. TFS and Happy Crafting. Ana
OMGosh I am a estate sale junkie now! My thrift stores are terrible so I am thankful for the estate sales. Looking forward to some estate sale hauls from you! TFW....Blessings, Cindy
Woowza. You really are addicted to milk glass. Very beautiful pieces you have found. I have found some pieces on ebay, but the shipping has been super expensive and alot of them came broken. That was a bumber. Then a friend of mine in PA sent me 10 pieces and 6 came broken. The box was thrown around like a basket ball. She wrote all over the box fragile, but they did not care. Love the lamp. And the blue pieces are gorgeous. Have fun decorating the home. Bet it feels warm with all the pieces.
There is nothing here any where near museum quality. It is mostly milk glass pieces from the 60's and 70's with an old milk glass open work edge plate and a couple of pieces of Fenton Silver crest. She bought it because she liked it but there is nothing of any real value here.
I just subscribed. What great deals on milk glass! Those cards with numbers and holes are called keypunch cards. When I was really little my mom was a keypunch operator....Not sure what they did with the cards after punching numbers in them, in the days before computers!
Thank you Vicki! I live in Oklahoma. If I find any in the thrift store the prices are high so I do better at estate sales. Thanks for watching and subscribing. Blessings, Cindy
Wow Cindy! Beautiful pieces! I just found a bunch of pieces today at a Goodwill near my home. Most were $1.99 and $2.99 with a larger pieces for $4.99. I hope to put a video up tonight! :) Jill
Holy moly, Cindy!! Where are you that the prices are so low and milk glass is so plentiful??? Oh don't worry. I won't give your secret away. Just get your guest room ready. I'm on my way. LOLOL I especially love the large footed bowl you bought for $2.00. Amazing!!
What is it about milk glass? I tried so hard to not buy any knowing I would be hooked and I failed....bad...lol! I am so happy I failed because I love the stuff. I love the pink too but stick to the white. I don't find much blue and if I do they want to much money that's why when I saw this group I had to get it. Thanks for watching....Cindy
Wow! You hit a Fenton collectors estate looks like. The ruffled tops are kind of usual for Fenton. The one that has the clear ruffles top is called Chrystal Crest I think and it’s made by Fenton. More expensive piece I think.
You should have some type of store where you can sell some of the milk glass you have collected. I know you love it all but this way you can keep your favorites and sell some duplicates or things maybe you are not so in love with for a small profit and then you can have money to buy some pieces you don't have. And maybe if you get a full set of something and you are finding more of those same pieces you sell the set and look for more pieces to complete and her set. Just something to think about, to help with your addiction :))
Ana that is a bummer on the milk glass breaking. I have looked on ebay and was to scared to buy because of the shipping and it breaking. You need to check out some estate sales. You probably can find some great ones in Florida. TFW......Blessings, Cindy
Thank you Marisa!! Love watching your videos! You have some great hauls and the things you create are wonderful. Thank you for subbing to my channel. Blessings, Cindy
NO.........you don't cuz we are all addicted,so we won't judge LOL. Girl no worries we must do what we love doing, and that is collecting things and creating things that make us happy. And if it wasn't so, it wouldn't be in us to do so." SO" enjoy every find, I will be watching to see the amazing ones you pick up. In His Grace, ellescrapper
Hi Liz, unfortunately right now a lot of the milk glass is in boxes. We did some remodeling to the house and I haven't been able to get all of it out yet. Maybe something I can do in the future but not anytime soon. Thanks for watching.
