Bless this dude man , he’d saved heaps of classic muscle cars from the metal crasher and the Monster Trucks shows era .... people like this did huge benefit to cars lovers all over the planet keeping those precious things safe
WOW, THERE IS A HEAVEN!!!! What a find! I am only a few seconds into this video & what a collection! Some people lived at the right time & were in the right place to obtain all of those beauties!
I would call this man a collector rather than a hoarder. He had some organization going on and probably save so many cars from the idiots that would have chopped them up.
Wow, car jacks have really come a long way! Watching this is both enlightening and heartbreaking at the same time. So many classics that you know will never run again due to them being allowed to sit and rot away.
It seems like most of the stuff that he keeps in storage is all in really good shape I don't see anything that was damaged that I would consider junk all of it was very good stuff. Impressive
So cool great collection I would not call that hoarding ide call that a awesome car and part collection Thank you for sharing Peace and Love to all From Detroit
I was raised 70 miles due east of Dallas and back in the day i had a close friend that was a big wheel in the GM financial dept for the Dallas /Ft worth area and big in the COPO dept as well as he was deep into the Chevy drag racing group. It was quite common to go with him out to the big Chevy dealers in the area, Steakley, Friendly, and several others as it was a part of his work. Saying all that, is to say this: From the year of 1966 thru 1975, as i went with him to these dealers and saw the inventory, cars, and service depts., not even the largest of them had what this guy has and some of them were huge. Its reasonable to say, that this is nearing the pinnacle if not the pinnacle of a Chevy muscle car & parts collection for those years as is nearly possible, 50 or so years on. Patrick, I want to thank you for allowing us the privilege to view what you've come up with. Awesome is almost an insulting understatement. If i hadnt seen it, i wouldnt believe it. Thanks
O MY GOD THIS IS HEAVEN I LOVE THIS HOARD APSALUTLY MY GOD AWSOME I REMEMBER BACK THEN JUNK YARDS HERE IN SPRINGFIELD USE HAVE OLD JUNK CARS OARTS BUT THERE GONE I WANT GO TEXAS JUST FOR THAT IM BLOWN AWAY AT THIS VIDEO HOLYSHIT
Your message about Schwinn bicyle caught my eye. I missed that when watching. I have old Schwinns and last summer idk why but, i bought chrome vintage lawnmower and it was a pain to use. Im going to make one.
@5:38 The A-team van!!! LMAO .... Also @ 1:11 I believe those are Pontiac Firebird body lines, not Camaro... front fender gives it away.. Great share brother..
this has got to be the largest most extensive hoard I have ever seen. this guy is clearly an American car enthusiast, this is incredible. unbelievable. just some of the parts alone could make him an instant multi millionaire. the chevy big blocks alone are seriously sought after pieces. The insane amount of time, money, energy, resources, to have this hoard is incredible. thank you for sharing this mind blowing video. I was looking to see if this gentleman had any mustangs 67, 68, 69, or 70's i didnt see any but who knows what is burried in this collection. a 68 gt 500 or a 68 dodge charger would have been really nice to see.
Damn what a place I can't get over the stuff he has he's even got a A Team chevy van lol man that is a gold mine there for sure how old is this guy that owns this stuff and when did he start collecting this stuff because he has some sense to him that's for sure
Thanks to guys like this a lot of cars are gonna end up back on the road. I hope most of the cars in this hoard end up in restoration. A lot of these cars would've ended up in the crusher if it weren't for this guy. It excites me that this stuff can find a new life.
This gentleman is like The DUKE, of CHEVROLETS in my book . I mean JOHN WAYANE by the DUKE .HE'S my GM DUKE .if someone doesn't like it . That's your prerogative. TODALOOOO.SOLONG .
thanks for saving all of that stuff for someone else. i got my 64 from a guy with all kinds of 57 chevy cars and wagons in his small yard with his house full of parts. his only runner was a 40's pick. some collect so others can have a car to put together some day.
Maybe it's just me but Patrick sounds like Mathew McConaughey .... Felt like any minute he was going to say "Alright Alright Alright Alright". PS please do that in a future episode! hahah
I'm always fascinated how some of these people end up with so many cars, parts and equipment. You'd have to literally stay in one place your whole life and be constantly looking for deals, Id imagine.
The video reminds me of a large acreage of vehicles from the past... 30's - 70's I walked it during the winter. My favorite was a white 62 Impala SS, 327/4spd red interior inside a dry storage area, limestone floor. 1200.00 for it, before I could get out there again. He passed away 😢. And the whole yard got a visit from a portable CRUSHER!!! SO SAD I unfortunately saw the Impala on a load 😞 flattened with the rest of the contents of the shed
What a hoard! I wonder what the owners intentions are for all those cars and parts? Does he sell anything or just collect it? Nice thorough video Patrick!
IMHO, as a 55 yr old gearhead, whom has been into old cars, since some of them were just used cars...I foresee a lot of this stuff winding up in the scrap. Not enough of the younger generation, with disposable income, coming into the old car hobby, to actually use it all. Sad state of affairs. Take a kid to a car show whenever you can. Nonetheless, incredible collection. JT
@chief tp Well said. We have taken a hobby for the average car guy and created a kind of a rip off business to the unassuming! By the way you do a helluva job taking us on this tour. Is any of this for sale or what?
