to robbie fishing congratulagion on that monster redfin hope it tasted amazeing hope fully I catch a keeper silver perch in stanely ditch dam as soon as theyre stocked again sitn trout snd silver perch and fish tnere again and catch some eeal tailed freshwatercatfishand tandanus freshwater catfish and start catching yellowbelly at the hume again very soon with recod breaker yellw belly catchers over a meter and trout also in the weir on bait and find and get A copy of the playschool im a little teapot book before my birthday and even though I shouldnt be telling You yet because its too early and it maynot live through it amd ive been strictly told Not too Tell You Not to Not tell You altogether but not untill Joe and Chelsea are ready My Brothers Not Just My Brother or familly anymore and My Brothers Girl Friend Is Now A Guess What Shes A M❤mmy and My Brothers Now A Guess What A Dad, please send A beautiful congratulations card and baby cintraultions presents both for Joe and Chelsea and tne rest of us Joe would li,e some welding stuff and metal work stuff and for tne baby tnat chelsea would akso ke clotnes and tos blankets and quilts for the baby and a ittle of exslenssive sweet wine Dad Emma ,Reuban and Ash and Mummy and I would like some trout,cod ,yellowbellyredfin lures hooks swivels and sinkers and some seeet biscuits and lollys and choccolates and smiths chips plaim and different variious flavour and also dorritos and lollys to share a phonefkr Me and vouchers to all the resteraunts food clubs bars and bistros pubs even the cinemas and the cinemas snack bar for things like pop corn , icecream and drink and maybe inside the card but you dont have to loafs of cash but not run You out of cash or ridicu.ous amount either but to make it that extra bit specail

Thanks UF. There's very few natives in there, but there's a lot of trout. I was hoping to film a trout in the mix but it wasn't to be. I bet the trout are much more wary of the camera than the redfin are.

Thanks so much Neil. I agree about the redfin. I had the camera set to superview, which is Ultra wide. That is called lens distortion which is common with wide angle lenses. If there were trees on the sides they would lean on towards the centre. Haha If I set it at a narrower depth of field I wouldn't fit as many fish in, the water would appear dirtier and the fish would likely be blurry.

Thank you so much. I'm with you, I absolutely love it up there. It can be a very hot and miss fishery. Autumn is my favourite time to fish up there, followed by summer and winter. I catch bigger redfin up there in winter than I do in summer, and rarely catch anything in the spring time.

There's a lot of photos claiming to be over 50, but only a few with a measuring device in them..haha, but only a handful with proper evidence type photos.

Thanks mate. Not really because the socks get water in from the top like gumboots do. If I want to go fishing tomorrow and my gumboots are still wet from today, I will wear my sealskinz to keep my feet dry in my wet gumboots, but if water goes over the top it's a very wet experience. LOL

@@robbiefishing in your early videos? I wonder if they stocked them in the 1960s there when the dam was built. They did in many others in the snowys etc. Very little way of them entering that lake otherwise.

@@willandchev4251 Yeah mate in my earlier videos. I can't remember the names of the videos, but I was bait fishing from the bank in winter. People probably took baby ones up there and used them as bait for redfin, that would be my guess.

Hi mate, winter can be a great time of the year to catch big redfin. I find that every waterway is different though. Some.fire up during winter and some shut down. Redfin are a very interesting species of fish. Every waterway fished differently.

Hi Mike, it depends on so many things. Shore based it certainly more comfortable. LOL Kayaking allows me to fish in more spots though, including out deeper.

Probably because they're down quite deep would be my guess. In really shallow water it might be a bit different.

@@mohammednovalija It is quite heavy. It's almost twice as heavy as other kayaks of the same make. I wanted a black kayak, and in order to make it black then needed to use twice as much plastic to water down the white resin. They usually make a granite colour which is black plastic with white resin. Mine is twice as much black plastic with the resin, so it is very heavy. I can still manage fine now, but in another 10 years it may be a different story.
