All salad dressings are to expensive now in my opinion, I make a lot of my own dressings now, anyone interested just google your favorite salad dressing and add “ recipe” after the name , they are very easy to make at home guys and much less to make and the same with Mayo , it’s just egg and oil , which is why you can use mayo in place of egg and oil to make a delicious cake !! If you use a vinaigrette ased dressing you can usually dress a salad for one servings worth - 2 tablespoons. That's for a bug salad. For just me I use one scant tablespoon and it lasts forever.

Every time I go to my local grocery store the price has increased on various products. A gallon of 2% milk is now $4 so now I go to the next town over and stick up as it’s only $2.50 there. I get a full cart and I cringe when I hear the total

Oh it's nuts out here. Every single grocery item is $6 & up No i am not spending $30 on soda or $30 on chips or crap

I have done the same thing. We no longer buy milk to drink we drink water instead, no box cereals, pop or fancy coffee creamers( plain 1/2&1/2 instead). Cutback where we can and I love the managers special on meats.

​@@auntiepam5649were still buying milk to drink as long as I can get it for$2.72 a gallon . We have cut back to one glass per person per day. Very little pop no juice or coffee. I'm fine with all my cut backs I've made except for steak. I really miss steak and roast.

Dollar tree has the small bottles of soda for 1.25. We buy a few of those for a treat. But overal dont drink much soda. Mostly water or berry punch. You can get the berry punch pretty cheap. Its in a carton.

They did! I switched from Charmin to Angel Soft due to cost and now Angel Soft seems hard and scratchy. Can anyone suggest another brand that is soft and "affordable"???

@@pamhopkins8339I like Costco’s Kirkland brand. It’s a huge package for around $19. The price hasn’t gone up in quite a while. They have Charmin also, and run it on sale. You don’t get as many sheets in Charmin

it would bother me also, especially since the guy had ensure in his cart but Dan doesn’t want to pry into peoples business either. Some people won’t take help when offered and get insulted, especially older people. Something might have happened if he had already picked out groceries and then just left them. Maybe he checked his balance and realized his money hadn’t come through like he expected, maybe he suddenly felt sick. I left a whole cart full of food at a store once without buying, because an emergency took place and I had to go immediately. It’s very hard to know who is going to react gratefully and want help, and who is going to react with insult or embarrassment in such situations sometimes.

I believe we're all here to help one another. Could be just holding the door for someone or helping pay for groceries. Lots of opportunities to help . Watch for them and do what you can when you can ❤

NO! Most senior products are higher than regular items. No Denture cleaning brush, Fixodent $7.00 if you go to the store, $14 if delivery. fewer low-sodium foods. OTC MEDS affects everyone. I'm 75 and do use the digital coupons. Just not on my Cell. Home laptop. We have to read Labels to keep doctors from screaming at us and sticking us on crap Statins. Our meds come from the Military base, hub is a 20-year SCPO, Retired. His MOS is Electronics, so computers are well-used in our house. He taught them in A/B school when he had shore duty. I use my cell for emergencies, I grew up being restricted from the landline, and it cost long distance to call across the river in the next state.

At Walmart the milk is $4.50? At mine last I checked it was $2.65 but that was a month ago. At my local store it is now up to $4.00 which is ridiculous so I go to the town nearby and stock up. There’s a small store in my neighborhood that sells a half a gallon for $3.50! Ahh

I haven't seen the half-gallon milk sale at 99-cents for a few cycles. It's usually $1.29 here and that's the sale this week in central Ohio.

@@joannbrown2842 yeah 👍 still 3 times the price no idea why ? Maybe it's the taxes that are added in the USA ? As here in the UK VAT tax is already included on all items so you don't get the shock of extra 20% added when you go to the checkout

@@sdb454 Well there is an answer for that... You could use a bread machine. No need to worry and pretty foolproof.
