Hi Emilee! This is James, owner of National Park Puzzles. I just wanted to correct you, as all of the photos are not mine, there are 3 other photographers involved. Each photographers name is on the side of the box. I hope you enjoy them! Thank you for the mention! Also, a Pine Marten is often mistakes for a fox, but is a member of the weasel family, about the same size as a cat.
I went through a extreme jigsaw puzzle haul myself LOL! I must’ve gotten 40 jigsaw puzzles through libraries at random. Very few are from thrift stores but I love them a lot. There’s a mix of brands (not mixed together. Just separate). Your jigsaw puzzles look like a bunch of fun. The mini jigsaw puzzle is cute but the pieces tell a different story. I managed to go to the dollar general for the past 2 weeks. The first is 1,000 by sur-lox. I can’t remember the image and the other is a 500 pieces. The reason I picked the 500 pieces is the shapes of them being different. 🎶happy haul to you!🎶
Hey ya'll! Couple things. 1. Sorry the antelope image was upside down. Not sure what happened there. 2. I say excited about 2000 times in this video - feel free to make it a drinking game lol 3. I joined TikTok!!! Come follow me on The Casual Puzzler
Yes totally agree on the Cozy Series! Makes you want to be in that pic!! And WOW what a find on that 2 for 1 Ravensberger!!! My GW is also crazy with the puzzle pricing. As far as buying the jumbo sets, I've done it a couple of times, but I find the quality to be lacking. I even bought a 4 puzzle set by Buffalo, but the pieces in that box were not Buffalo quality. However I did pick up a jumbo pack from the last puzzle swap and I'm working on a 300 pc for a Bingo square right now!! 😄😄
I finally got around to checking my goodwill for puzzles since the rest of their items can be overpriced...I found a pomegranate, a NY puzzle co, and several cobble hills for $4 each. Was definitely worth the trip.
I hated doing the sky when I first began puzzling (pandemic), but now, it's totally a fun part of a puzzle. I think of it as a mini gradient and that changes everything. Great haul!
I find something interesting or enlightening in nearly every video you do. I have been making notes about which puzzles to look for from this video. Right now New York Puzzle Co. is in the lead. 😁
They are so good!! I'd just say really look at the image. Sometimes their artsy ones have quite blurry lines so can be quite tricky. But I have loved so many over the years.
Craze art for me were terrible!!! I bought 2 different puzzles 500 pieces both involved dogs(I have a dog obsession)!! The main problem is they don’t stay together even working on table!! Hopefully you will have better luck!! Enjoy your trip and be safe.
My goodwills prices are all over the place too. What drives me crazy is used dollar tree puzzles are more expensive at good will. Not that I plan on buying them, but..
After crying about puzzle's high prices, the next day was PrimeDay and "Oh boy" did I take advantage of the incredible discounts. Got 20 beautiful puzzles from Ravensburger, eeBoo and more. My first serious puzzle haul. Great video!
I wish for bulk mini puzzles- now though I have found the collage style puzzles and thats KIND of the same thing ha!! I just love mini's and I wish I had a drive to do things more than once. Interesting you should say that- Ravensburger- Karens Puzzle Meta- box and puzzle didn't match up and I wound up wishing i had skipped it. I LOVED the idea of mini puzzle inside a puzzle but just wasn't fun like I had hoped.
Hi, If you could do a video on the Ravensburger Night Owl Hoot, please. This puzzle has been on my wish list to decide if I should buy. Thanks! Love all of your videos!
That's so funny, the 2 pack you got has one that I just did a couple of weeks ago. I stumbled upon a local to me puzzle group that does in person meetups and went to the first one available after I joined up...they gave us that cabana puzzle (it was a standalone) to start and everyone was like 'man, these pieces are HUGE' but it worked really well for us to work on it with 4 or 5 people. The next one was also 500 pieces and was standard pieces and man was it trippy to go from giant pieces to tiny ones...it was also a more difficult puzzle. They managed to get sponsors, so one of the monthly meetups is focused on Ravensburger and the other is focused on Masterpieces...the Ravensburger is definitely my preferred one, but I am just excited to have people to hang out with in person (even if I'm in my 30's and almost everyone else is retirement aged) that enjoy something that I also enjoy.
Awesome haul! The balloon image from PIntoo is so pretty. It would look so good in a frame. That was a nice find of the 2 piece set from Ravensburger. That would be great if you did a series on jumbo puzzle sets. Autumn Express is so pretty. I don't know why, but I'm always drawn to an image with a train in it. I was in Puzzle Warehouse website and they had a scratch off puzzle. Have you ever done one of those? I wasn't exactly sure how it worked.
I hope you appreciate Glacier Park. As far as I’m concerned, it is the most beautiful, spectacular of all the national parks, closely followed by Great Smoky Mountains Park in Tennessee. And whatever you do, STAY AWAY from the bison in Yellowstone! Otherwise, enjoy, and have safe travels!
