I loved hearing your descriptions....I haven't tried many of the scents mentioned but a few are going on my to sample list. I definitely need to smell Rabbit! 😂 I also love Surrender to Chance!!
I just found your channel, and I subscribed half way through the video. I so enjoy your no no nonsense, down to earth fragrance talk. I also very much appreciate that you focus on both niche and designer with equal interest. It is much appreciated!
I agree Surrender to Chance is awesome! Shirley is the best and I've given her a shout out on my channel before 😄 I enjoyed listening to your impressions and comparing them to my thoughts on these, we have some similar thoughts and some very different.. I was excited to hear about Tilia and was interested until you said it smells like Valaya 😬 that one is quite screechy to me, although there are things about it I like. (btw I didn't like Cassili too much either)
Great video! Of the ones I have tested from this last, they are just "nice" for me. Nothing I plan to spend my money on. I haven't smelled Rabbit but I had a similar experience with Stéphanie de Bruijn's L'ile Aux Cygnes (Swan Island). I didn't think it was possible but it literally smells like you have your nose stuffed into a little cygnets downy feathers. Very interesting but a little too weird for me!
It's definitely worth checking out! It's gourmand enough that the animal fur smell doesn't take over. It's sooo beautiful in such a weird, other worldly way..
Miami Nectar: I loved the scent so much! But when I purchased the full bottle, I found that it didn’t last more than an hour. That was mind blowing to me because I never and I mean ever have issues with longevity on any of my fragrances. So I returned it the following day. Also, with Kayali Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar, gorgeous opening. But the dry down wasn’t for me. It smelled like I was wearing someone else’s fragrance and I returned that the following day. But back to Miami Nectar, a couple of the other (popular) reviewers/influencers here on YT replied to my comment acknowledging the poor longevity on Miami Nectar. It’s just wild how almost no one is acknowledging that about this Ellis Brooklyn frag. 😅
@@clarizaelena that’s such a bummer they didn’t work out for you! The longevity thing is difficult because I’ve noticed a fragrance will wear longer on one person and not another. Plus I wonder if different batches perform better than others. Its so difficult to know how it’s going to go 😫
OMG the Miami Nectar… ME TOO< I am not a fan. It turned SO powdery on my skin the first time I tried it. The next, the day was much hotter and I caught the bright pineapple but it didnt last. Your honesty on THIS, is why I just subscribed. Welcome to my lineup! I love your honesty. ❤❤❤
Zoologist nightingale is beautiful, I want to smell mouse , and rabbit. So so many to try. Have you smelled encelade by Marc antigone barrois? That. That is a must try, and film it. It's so damn unique❤
I will have to check out Nightingale AND Encelade as I haven't smelled either! Thank you for the recommendations, I will get samples and do first impressions on camera!
