This is such a calming video. It's very realistic and you have realistic plastic toys like most people vs $100 fancy wooden ones. It's nice to see how real families do things

Did this a few weeks ago and it made the playroom space 10x better and more enjoyable for my 3 year old toddler. She has really enjoyed the upgrade. I am committed to the “less is more” idea for Christmas and will be reducing the toys I buy drastically.

We got rid of all our books and just used the library more. Might be an option for you if you have one near by. z

I recently piled every toy into my living room and sorted into rotation bins. For half a day my 2 toddlers didn’t have access to their toys while I worked on the project. They played with a single toy muffin and frying pan for 4 hrs straight! Like what! 🤯 Clearly they are fine without 500 toys 😂

You did an amazing job!! At first I thought you didn’t have that many toys, but then you moved to the kids room and I totally saw your point. I wanted to help you! The bins…we all love them, but the bin shuffle is real. For books what helped me stop the book madness is to stop buying them which makes the library a real extra treat. Otherwise, they become so sentimental that you just can’t bare to let them go. Better to do it young like you are. My oldest (6) still remembers toys from years ago, haha.💗

Hi, Nina. I have a hard time parting with my son's books and toys & he's 22. Just kept a few that meant a lot. Hoping it will be something his future kids can have, too.

I am a mum of a toddler and we own a total of 20 toys. Hes thriving. So dont feel guilty for not keeping anything.
