@@marcuslow1386 Harkbelial is correct. Chris does a fantastic job at what he does though, don't get me wrong. BUt consider that most large scale jobs all start with a site clearing, which is basically all this is so it's a common thing that happens on all large jobs.
@@fox13z400 Thanks for the response. I am not from the US and not familiar with the industry. But I do watch most of Chris's video as I like his demeanor and his work attitude.
Wow. As complicated as it was getting that tree down, I hate to think of the machinations to get it down safely without both machines. Even saw-cutting would be fraught with danger to you and the house. Once again, you showed the world you are a master of your machines, getting them to work magnificently. Thanks for sharing this, Chris. It was fun.
Prolly your most suapenseful video I can remember! When the 330 hydraulics drag a 40 ton machine, that's impressive. Nice to see the two machines working together!
That’s the first time in a long time that I saw you forward roll your root-rake. And no less with the 330. Those were some wicked roots. That was a great job dropping that tree and by yourself with 2 Machines, that’s gutsy. Great job.
Hey Chris, What A Huge Difference In The Lighting On The Back Of The House, Now The Kids Don't Have To Go Out And Play In The 'Haunted" Forest Anymore!!! LOL What A Vast Improvement!! Well Done Sir, Well Done!!
That tree was a little fella when that powerline was installed. Yeah that rain was crazy. My son was covered in dust on Friday and mad and then Monday he was caked in mud and mad. LOL! Never seems to be anything inbetween in NC. Excellent work as always.
I was thinking he was referring to that TV commercial a few years back. a guy yanks on a cord in his house, power lines get pulled over, gps satellites get off course and the lady drives off the road because the gps said turn now. It is pretty funny.
Pulled a 8x12 shed 3 miles down the road on telephone poles. It was too wet to put it in place so I waited a week till it froze good. Moved it a 100 ft and it completely collapsed into nothing except a pile of wood on the floor. Took a week to dig through it. I had some stuff in it nothing really important, but I didn’t want it in the yard. Made a nice fire.😊
I'm waiting for DP to turn up with his saw on a stick contraption. Good skills on the tree felling It seems very peaceful there ,birds chirping, suppose they need to find new trees to nest in
Awesome. I rented a 52K Sany 2 weeks ago and pushed over about 30 trees. I hired a tree guy for 1 day so we could get everything brushed and to pole length in one day. Such a fun toy.
@27:36 i went back a few time's to watch the cable come out of the box😂had to zoom in X8.5 😂. Gotta like how calm Chris is staying with this hole ordeal, hats off to you. 🧢 God Bless and ya'll have a great day.
This video was fun to watch. Lots of logical prep work and exciting suspense leading up to the big fall. You spent a lot of time digging roots and it all was necessary. 👍👍👍
You are making good progress taking down all those big trees and as always no damage to any surrounding structures. You’re going to have a lot of very large stumps to burn and you’re going to need a lot of brush to burn them. Great video as always Chris. I’m looking forward to seeing the following videos.
As the Trees get bigger, the Machines get bigger. You have shown what a motivated Operator can achieve with skill, passion and a little creativity. Ready to take on just about any job, Big or Small.. I enjoy watching your Dreams come true also.. Thanks for sharing. 😄
Chris, Great Job on safely bringing down the big tree by the house! I love the care you took to not make a big mess. Some would not even have thought about the electrical.
☘️🇮🇪🇺🇸 I’m telling ya the whole stadium would have stood up cheering Chris, you are definitely the king of the hill - your moves each perfectly planned with absolute precision…. And that shot of you running between the two behemoths put in true perspective how HUGE that tree and those machines really are!!! Again thank you, your calm demeanor certainly belies the booming that you confessed to going on in your chest. Blessings Chris you’ve taught a great lesson once again Southern Men Rule!!!
You are amazing Chris, taking down those trees with such precision is always stressful. You don't use your grapple much but when you do you run it like it's just another bucket. That's looking better every day.
Chris you never cease to amaze with your knowledge of the how to get it done and all with safety first attitude the difference between when started till now just a vision Cheers
It would be wise for people to listen to Chris. He knows what he is talking about. Chris has so many videos waiting to be shown. Watching them makes me wonder what day of the week it actually is. But I love it when I get the notification. It really makes my day.
@@gold-diggersanonymous1085 Is the 350 really any better, or is he just doing smaller trees at the moment . More digging is required in order to make an informed decision .
I was an excavating contractor also. When faced with the problem like this we would carefully uncover the power lines from the house past the tree and roll them up. Complete the tree removal and re dig in the service. Here where I live they will not do underground splicing. So any damages to the lines means a whole new service line. If you dig through power lines without having contacted the power company you better have good insurance.
It would be daft to say. That all the years of you workin for family. You have built a solid workforce of machines to tackle anything that comes your way. Experience pays the bills. Love your channel.
so easy to forget how big these machines and trees are when you see it from the cab then at about 31mins when you walked from the 330 to push the tree over you looked so small in comparison! Huge trees and root balls
Those were some serious roots on the big one by the house. Picked the 330 off tracks a few times, not mention stalling the hydraulics out on digging the rooter through.
Wow, that place looks like a war zone with that big tree down, that would have trashed that house, if all they have to do is splice that powerline and run it back to the box, that`s not bad, not bad at all, well done sir.
Commonest cause of tree rot like that is the fungus _fomes annosus_ It's a big problem in the UK & Europe too, costing billions a year in damage, mostly to pine & spruce.
We just had a tornado go through our neighborhood recently. We have mostly pine trees some of them are close to 50 years old. What a mess. It took down hundreds of trees Clean up is unreal. They have Hugh forestry type machinery doing the clean up. A lot of logs are being harvested but that still leaves a big mess to contend with
Good thing you're thinking ahead with that hydro line you got to cut pulled out of the meter base. That was all right. Not too much damage other than the line, but there's some pretty big trees there. Good job!.👍👍🙂🇨🇦⚡⚡
The next Workday on the Abandoned Farm. You root out a large Number Trees round the old Farmhouse. That a clearing to origin what this Wood Hous a beauty Charme give. The Barn give You a new Position. The Planing from the new Formation make the Work Interesting. Excellent Video however. 👌
Down here our electric lines are buried and they are covered in concrete and have a warning tape on top of that. The other option was to run conduit from the pole to the house.
Brilliant Chris, on my lunch break and i feel relaxed watching your work. I would love your job. I was in NC last year visiting our family. All the very best keep it coming. Ant UK
