When I lived in Oklahoma, I was adopted by a dog that someone dumped in the country. He was a wonderful dog. Fixed, trained to walk on a leash, responded well to commands and got along really well with my Maremma. His only flaw was that he was a barker! He let me know every time a squirrel fluffed two miles away 🙄 I simply refuse to use a shock collar on a dog! I found a collar at Atwoods that didn't shock him when he barked, it vibrated. He wore it for a week and I took it off and no more yapping.

She be shedding! Such a floofy pupper! I understand why you crate dried this pupper, but I have to wonder how big her furnado would have been. Look at her lil bitty toe beans! Ok, how do you decide where to clip when a dog's nails are that long? Poor thing! I'm sure she feels so much better. The dog barking had my cats looking at the TV all crazy. Lol

MaryBeth, you have inspired me to get certified as a dog groomer. I have been thinking of doing this for years now. I love how informative you are in your videos of your process. I have several places to choose from to get certified. I’m so excited! I already know how to use clippers and many of your other tools of the trade. I couldn’t watch it with the barking. It’s clear that dog has no training and wants attention and to be let out. How you just switch off from the barking I do not know.
