9:20 you're actually spot on. The human body is basically made to run long distances and throw stuff. An average 10 year old boy has more throwing power than an adult male chimp. It comes down to the way our torso can rotate (the distance from ribs to pelvis is a lot larger than in our closest living relatives), our clavicles or oriented more horizontally, allowing for greater flexibily in the shoulder and the way our humerus is curved - all contributing to making the throwing motion the fastest movement our body can produce. It's fricking amazing, I recommend "Real Science"'s video "The Insane Biology of Humans".
