Master A SHORT STACK In POKER Tournaments

Throughout a poker tournament, it is quite common for the eventual tournament winner to lose a significant amount of their chips at some point during their run. Rarely will you win every flip and coast your way to the final table, to be a winning tournament poker player you must be effective and comfortable playing with a short stack.
When playing short stacked, it can often feel like your back is against the wall as you get bullied by big stacks. Regardless of how many big blinds you have, poise and patience are a requirement for any winning poker player. Assess the tendencies of your opponents, recognize the range of hands needed to play with, and grind your way to the final table.
As a professional poker player, I need to be able to consistently focus throughout the day. I used to drink a lot of coffee to help with focus, but it would inevitably lead to a crash. Then, I discovered BRÈINFÚEL.
It combines everything you need including natural caffeine, MTC oil, vitamin C, vitamin E and collagen to give long lasting energy in a healthy way that allows you to focus your best all day long.
You can get 15% off at breinfuel.com/... and by using code POKERCOACHING.

Knowing how to play a short stack is probably the most valuable thing i have learned that has helped me make deeper runs in tournaments, Many people just throw away their short stack without thinking about it with very bad hands and in situations where it doesn't make sense. I see this happen all the time when i'm playing online.

Brilliant info. Thank you, my head is now exploding. Got to study this. Playing 2nd tournament tonight (1st 2 weeks ago came 15/85, thrilled I didn't bust in first half hour). Will be studying this until tonight. Many thanks Jonathan, appreciate all the content you upload.

Course is great. Worth every penny if you put in the self study work. J little doesn't waste time with sugar coating. Hard facts and numbers with anecdotal examples. Love his content!

Hi. I am struggling with one situation. How to play smaller pocket pairs after you call opponent's rise. Which flops I should continue calling C bet. Maybe the best action is to re-rise when the flop is low. Maybe depends on oponent. It seems every single time I fold oponent has missed flop AK and every single time I call has higher pocket pair. 😔If you covered this topic please can you drop the link. Thank you.

Watch how the cash game players deal with this spot (as they get to face it way more often) and adjust for the effective stack size in a tournament. 1 particular tip - if there is an overcard you don't get to play for stacks with low spr as the preflop caller unless your opponent is loose preflop and aggressive postflop.
