Cleaned my house all morning and am happily curled up to my sleeping toddler in my bed watching this as my “cleaning reward”! I’m slowly working on our master bedroom and it’s so fun making a little oasis for my husband and I!! ❤

Beautiful. I find it interesting putting the bed with tall headboard in front of a window. I've got the same problem in our bedroom but thought I wouldn't want to block the light
I've waited 8 years for a wardrobe with doors! Had. A new carpet and bedding. Husband fitted a huge fancy glass light fitting next to my bed. I am so lucky. It does make you feel better

Your bedroom is beautiful - love the colours and the attention to detail e.g. the ceiling, well done Josh! I'm so glad to see the bed placed there - I've always thought it looked a bit 'lost' over in the corner. Btw you've probably thought of this already but I'd spray tha headboard and the seats with a fabric guard - I used it on our oatmeal coloured sofas and any marks just wipe off.
So very happy for you Meghan and Josh. You did fabulous in making choices that completely reflects you. I know the feeling of finally being able to create an oasis. I waited 30 + years. I have only one tip. A safety tip. Being a mom of 6 grown adult children and 9 grandkids find a safe out of reach place for your candle matches. Little ones don’t understand the magnitude of safety use with matches.

have collected "primitive" style furniture for over 40 years...globally when husband was still in military...I look at all the beautiful new pieces and think about it...but short of living room couches I would really miss our finds...this came out beautiful I am so happy for you
As soon as this was posted, I saved to my watch list! Today is my day off and I am still getting our bedroom put together. We bought our very first NEW bedroom suite a few months ago (married 40 years and have always thrifted), and now, it’s the finishing touches of bedding and art that goes with our NEW area rug. It’s an amazing feeling when one can start fresh and new though I do not regret any of our 40 years of thrift if and buying used, but saving and treating ourselves to celebrate our 40th anniversary this month made us very happy.
Awe I’m so happy for you!!! What a great place to relax and spend time as a married couple. Makes me think that I should tidy up my husbands and my room today 😬😬😬

What a great video! You were so excited you made me excited! There's nothing wrong with creating a special space for you and your husband! It does add spark! We did that in our last house and it wasn't nearly as fancy as what you were blessed with and we called the result our love nest! We were so proud because we did it together for US! Those moments are important! We have been married 30 years now and every investment we have made in our marriage has paid off! Keep it up and enjoy!!!!
Wow! It is absolutely gorgeous! I have been working on our master, we’ve been married 26 years. There is too much in there now. Too many dressers, dog cage, too much stuff. I have been looking since Christmas for a quilt I love and finally found one. Can’t wait to finish it up and get the extra stuff out of there. Can’t get enough of that baby it is uncanny how much he reminds me of my 3 boys. They are 24, 21 and 16 now. Can’t believe that. The days are long but the years are so so short! It certainly doesn’t seem like it in the moment but gosh is it so true.
So beautiful, and just so you! I am so happy for you and forever more you will remember that beautiful transition. Enjoy and rejoice and dance in front of the mirror with Joy. Just so marvelous and your husband is thrilled for you to have those things that make you happy. You are indeed blessed!

What a fabulous transformation into a bedroom with personality and style. It still has a comfortable, cosy feel but in a very chic way. I love everything but that plant/tree would have to go if it was my room. I think it's overbearing and darkens that nice fresh corner. Megan, it looks so so good!! 😍 I love Cocalico Creek Home. I live in South Jersey and was up in HoneyBrook for a wedding in October and took a trip over to Lancaster and hit our usual spots like Kettle Kitchen and their surrounding shops and ended our little vaca at Cocalico Creek. They had a few Christmas items out at the time and of course I wanted one of everything. Good thing for my wallet they are about an hour and a half to 2 hours away! 😂 I do window shop on their Facebook page though!

Hi Megan your bedroom looks beautiful and your seating area is a lovely quite space if you want to read. Every thing coordinated but all different elements. The bed looks great under the window and sets off the room lovely but shame you have had to block part of the window, one of my favourite pieces is the bench at the bottom of your bed.
