Halo season finale TV Series Perez is alive, Master Chief kills the Arbiter and enter the dark hallways, John 117 leaves Makee. Mysterious dark 343 Guilty Spark appearance, John talks to the Monitor. #masterchief #halo #arbiter
Paramount: Okay, now we have the make the little flying guy. Halo fans: Sweet! Are you gonna make him look like how he does in the game and get the same voice actor? Paramount: There's a game?
Also Paramount: Halo isn't this that story where orcs and shamans fight against the alliance? No? Damn it now we watched that "all you need to know about the universe in 20 minutes" video for nothing! Screw this guys, lets do this without research. How hard can it be..."
@@sirstirtebeker7716 I'm convinced that Paramount is using bots to post comments that are in favor of this show. It wouldn't surprise if they are also making employees do the same.
@@Intrepid_Crusader1096 well i don‘t know. Most positiv comments I read so far are from ppl which did not play the games. From this perspectiv I guess the show does not look that bad. It is just not halo. They could call it supersoldier samy and his fight against corrupt authorities and some aliens. 😂
Just looked it up. It's an actor from Game of Thrones. But still, sounds so much like him. Idk why they could get Jen Taylor to reprise Cortana, but not Tim Dadabo for Spark.
The one time I brought this up on redit I got baraded with angry people insisting that it doesn’t matter and I should kill my self for being a halo 4 Cortana simp. I never even mentioned halo 4 Cortana is said they could have made her look like H2A Cortana.
@@YodaOnABender I know, it just makes more sense. I get nostalgia and all but if a civilization can make a bridge out of light can’t make a robot sound less robotic than an Alexa device? I also like how serious this one was opposed to goofy. To each their own
@@SovettaParmetta spark isn’t supposed to be serious. He is SUPPOSED to seem harmless because that makes his betrayal and murder of Johnson in halo 3 surprising.
The flood has been unleashed Halsey is infected Paragosky is dead and likely going to be assimilated into a proto gravemind The arbiter is dead The unsc and covenant have both found halo The Chief has found 343 guilty And this, my friends, is where it all ends. Rip halo
1:35. I just want to know why Chief doesnt just shoot Mackee there since she's clearly in opposition to his goals? "I cant let you do that". Then lets her walk into the installation? Also how tf does Kai's body even survive that explosion when their armor cant event handle enery swords without getting damaged
Ik. It's so freakin stupid. I don't get why they insist on keeping this character. She is so badly acted and written. Her character ruins a lot of the show
@@elliotjohnson9415this isn’t how chief works. Chief didn’t team up with the arbiter in the games because he “saw the good in him”. They just teamed up because it was more convenient. The original Chief wouldn’t jeopardise his mission to try and “redeem” an enemy
@@elliotjohnson9415 Which comes back to the recurring gripe about the show. The humans are literally losing the war. There is literally no reason to not shoot her. Same thing with the Prophets who were hanging around the final battle of the previous season. Just hanging around there unprotected. Any real SPARTAN from the actual Halo timeline is fighting to win. At most they'd take a character like Makee prisoner or give her a chance to surrender, but any other situation, she's getting shot. A scene especially like this, Chief or any other SPARTAN would shoot her.
@@OscarNovember1776 The gravemind was introduced on Installation 05, if The Monitor is Guilty Spark then chief is on Installation 04, which didnt have an actual Gravemind (excluding the proto gravemind on the truth and reconcilliation) If the grave mind is introduced in season 3 then chief would be on installation 05 and the monitor would be 2401 Penitent Tangent
So, game Spark is jovial, curious, which just makes his insanity more jarring. Here he seems like he's more competent, but sees this all as some kind of game vs the survival of the galaxy...weird choice
I'm gonna play devil's advocate here and say maybe it isn't Installation 04, and this is isn't Spark. (I'm not actually done with the season yet, so I may be entirely wrong. I just came here cause I heard the the Flood make an appearance)
He doesn’t seem to view it as a game, but he does seem to have a greater desire to prepare humanity to take the mantle, whereas Guilty Spark was really only concerned with his own installation’s maintenance. Though we also don’t know if this is for sure 343 Guilty Spark.
Here is one thing I noticed that I haven't seen or heard anyone else talking about. When Master Chief entered the installation his helmet was only scratched at best but when he went to put it on and follow Guilty Spark his helmet was all broken up. Did anyone else notice this?
I guess he had a firefight with either the flood or that this chief is the original timeline one who somehow entered this timeline. The monitor seems to be happy to see an ally that the forerunners knew would be key to humanity understanding the events of what they went through.
@@debbiebernhardt5406 With the flood there can't be any opening in the armor as they will get in and take over the individual. I wonder if they did it just for a more dramatic ending? Anyway I hope they put out season 3 as it's getting better with time
We don’t know if she survived fully It might be a situation like Linda in halo CE who was in a cryo pod floating around the ring until Chief rescued her and Halsey brought her back to life
@@rileyscheller7739 its implied she survived. why else would the show us her floating in space. I with the OP here. How the fuck does she survive an explosion with a CAS ship. When their armor cant even handle energy swords and plasma bolts. FFS. Why are you guys okay with this kind of inconsistent writing?
Right. I mean, adding the filter is the least the showrunners could have done. Even using some of the original Flood theme would have been nice...but of course, with this show we can't have nice things.
The end credits roll and as the theater lights come back on, Lasky turns to Master Chief and asks, "So Chief, what did you think of the movie?". Chief stares at Lasky through his gold visor, gets up out of his seat and walks out of the theater without saying a word. Lasky shrugs and follows Chief.
"it is awake because you are here, you are here because it is awake" Bro, I prefered when Guilty Spark didnt speak in "im in middle school and I think this is deep" He's a monitor of a Halo ring, not a weird, abstract poet
@@Who-Uhm-Cares it’s not perfect. Because this isn’t who Guilty Spark is as a character. He’s a quirky mentally unstable lightbulb who goes batshit when you damage his installation, he’s not HAL from 2001: a Space Odyssey
@@YodaOnABender Halo is a great story line and 95% of the story and games 1-3 are rock solid, but the monitors voice, IMO, sounds better as a normal-sounding, if sociopathic human. I never fell in love with the monitors cartoony disposition. I don’t like the show much- it’s beaten far from the halo canon and lore, but the new voice for the monitor is a plus, if anyone cares about what I had to say I’ve read every book and played all the games btw (even the bad ones)
Okay So Chiefs Armor Is All Messed Up The 117 Is Burnt off But Now Its Restored and His Helmet Had a Small crack bUt Now Theres a Missing Cracked Piece Revealing Part of His Face I Dont Get That AT All!!!
It's like they wrote a sci-fi series, someone read it and said "that's sorta like Halo," and the execs just ran with it because they promised to do a Halo show and didn't really care
@@juandanielhdzplays2133 it kinda looked like it was the place in halo 4 where he ends up meeting the librarian more than I thought it was the library but yea maybe
They could AT LEAST kept Guilty Spark the same, this is sacrilege and heresy! My dad enjoyed watching the series but he never played the games. That's probably REAL audience the series is trying to attract, people who don't know anything about Halo.
This is NOT Guilty Spark. They share the fact they can fly and have a glowing bulb for an eye but that's it. The voice is different, the personality is different, the FACE is different!
@@NightshadeDE Exactly. This isn't Guilty Spark. This is a different Monitor, from a different Installation, from a different Halo. Thanks for proving my point.
@@jackychang9148 oh wait is it like legit a different monitor? Sorry so used to people still complaining about characters not exacting the exact same way that they do in the main canon
@@NightshadeDE yeah we still don't know if this is Alpha Halo (Installation 04). Maybe it's a different one since they went with Silver Team instead of Blue. They changed plenty of things already.
@@jackychang9148 oh well sincerely my b at coming at you then, hate mobs bring out the worst in everyone I suppose (not that there aren’t legit issues with the show but you get me)
@alex21390 Soren lives in Omega. Laera, is said like Liara most of the time. Pablo Shriver looks very close to the default image of Shepard. Behaves closer to paragon Shepard as well. The Fall of Reach is handled more like the fall of Earth.
@@Youcancallmeishmaell hell. Think of the beginning. Aliens attack a human colony. Human special forces soldier sent to help. Finds ancient alien device on said colony. Touches it. Gets a weird vision and passes out. That’s basically Eden Prime
@@battleangel4833 I meant since this show has no regard for the lore, is Sergeant Johnson going to be made into a white man, since in this show Captain Keyes is a black man and Miranda Keyes is a biracial woman. And for some reason Catherine Halsey has a British accent. And Master Chief keeps taking his helmet off.
You have to look at the halo show like you look at different batman and spiderman generations. Stop being boomers guys, this isnt half bad. I am a long time die hard halo fan. Really enjoyed every part of this last episode.
Even without knowing the original games, the absolute loop holes and laughably bad writing in this shows “plot threads” every character does everything for dramatic effect, horrible planning, comically evil with no benefit. This a satire at this point
It's bad. I've never played the games, just seen let's plays, so I'm not a hardcore Halo fan and I'm open-minded to changes. But I can't defend the TV show. The writing is sub-standard, the editing and directing has too many "wtf were they thinking" moments and the budget isn't there. How the hell do you reduce the fall of Reach to one fight in a corridor?
This is the actor they went with for master chief? It’s not that he doesn’t sound like chief, he doesn’t sound like anything just a guy pretending to be a old rocker
This show isn’t nearly as bad as you all make it out to be. I’m not sure how all you people live your lives with nothing better to do than hate everything you see.
At 2:58 when chief puts on his helmet I think he was about to go down and meet the gravemind or about to go and face the flood (in my humble point of view) i guess
Y'know I don't like this show but I do like that Guilty Spark sounds ... guilty. He sounds like Dr. Manhattan. I kind of like that. Like a ghost that haunts the Halo.
They’re gonna screw up Guilty Spark too, aren’t they? I’d be fine with the unmodulated voice if it was after he purged the extra personality matrices after Halo 3, but here it seems weird. Then again this show….
This season by far was the best so far got me hyped compared to the last season where i was just really disappointed this season has me wanting more do more of this Paramount
Personally, I quite like a more subtle, contemplative Guilty Spark in a visual, narratively driven medium like TV. I could even say that I actually love it. Just think about what Guilty Spark is in a narrative context; he's over 100,000 years old and completely alone as a hermit on Installation 04. Of course the original Guilty Spark is beloved, but I'm not against switching things up a little. There are some changes which could have made sense and have an interesting new direction with the soul of the original elements intact. The trouble is, the show has poorly executed the fundamental elements, so genuinely inspired changes are seen as bad by default. The story isn't very good, Master Chief is non-existent, the characters are dull, and 90% of the show is just people talking about what they're going to do. This finale was the culmination of those elements. However, the Spartan 3's doing the space jump was very well done in my opinion. Very compelling and intense. Chief's visor breaking is just awful. It's like the show has a personal vendetta against the idea of the masked hero. Strange writers.
Complete waste of one of the only good characters in this show. I was actually rooting for him to win because chief is so god damn unlikable in the show
The only good thing about this terrible show was Cortana's voice. They should have just made the weird fantasy show they wanted, it sure could have been anything else....
We get the flood in a live action show, finally, done correctly and in a very awesome way... but the show is non-canon and sucks. I fucking hate being a Halo fan right now.
It’s the very beginning stage of evolution. (IE: when the original powder spores😮 were found, they were fed to dogs, which started cannibalizing eachother and their owners- the beginning of the first flood outbreak) this is a slightly altered version of this (IE: spores are discovered on a forerunner object, released and spread to the scientists on Onyx, whom start cannibalizing eachother)
One of them sprouted a tentacle. I can excuse that they're only in the early stages of mutating given this is an outbreak from spores rather than mature infection forms.
Lmao doesn't even make sense marvel is cringe and just pumps out dogshit superhero movie after dogshit superhero movie now they haven't made anything good since the last spiderman movie.
