I understand this. Life is tough. It can often be disappointing. Just trying to make it in today's economy can feel overwhelming and I constantly feel like I'm just above the water and that the reason I don't stop is just to prove other wrong. However, the more restless I become, the more driven I am to succeed. At times, that's still not enough though. Figurative brick walls stand before us and either they'll fall or we will. As someone with a lower level of OCD + a few other mental problems, I feel like I should manifest myself. I must clarify first that I don't think I've suffered/suffer as much as you did/do, since my family, atleast my mother's family, does help me sometimes, not with my mental problems, but with other things like helping me with my laptop and giving me a bed so I can have my room in the future. I do not feel depressed, I do not feel like I want to end my life, rather melancholic, and too often mentally numb. I've noticed myself taking hours long showers since 2020 and washing my hands more harshly, COVID likely has something to do with it, and the fear my father made me feel about it possibly didn't help (I later found out he is a manipulative person). I've also noticed that my thricotillomania has worsened over the years, I pull out pubian hair and it sucks, because hair gets thicker, and I also get scars and ingrown hair, and I know it's gonna affect me in the near future. That also leads me to procrastinating, because I'd like to enjoy myself by playing games or answering random questions that come out of my head. I wish I could manage my time better, and I wish my PC was better so I could play with my long time internet friends, I see then like family, and I feel like they care about me, even if I don't go around sharing my pain, though next month I will be able to upgrade my PC, so I'm hopeful. Your family might not love you, due to how selfish and ignorant they are, but that doesn't stop you of being deserving of loving or being loved. Even if you have problems that still affect others, that doesn't mean you're a bad person. You have your own worth, don't let them convince you otherwise. I don't know if you have friends, a person you really care about, or anything like that, but I hope one day you find someone who sees your tears, someone you can count on, someone who cares about you, friend or partner, and I hope one day you find love, because no matter what others tell you, you deserve to be loved, because you are a good person, and you deserve to have someone's shoulder to cry on
